REBLOG IF YOU WANT CURIOUS ANONS
Happy munday !
Derek nodded. “I promise.” He said. Derek raised an eyebrow. “You will make sure I am in this bed for good? What would you do?”
"I'll break you into pieces." She smiled a little before approaching his face. “But if you behave, then I shall let you have a peaceful life with a dark and twisty mess like me.”
“I don’t think bones are supposed to stick out like that.” (evilspxwn)
“Nope… We should call Callie.”
“You would think being a surgeon would mean it’s easier to diagnose yourself.” Pressing the back of his hand to her temple. “You don’t seem to have a fever, I think we should go get that test.”
“So... You may have knocked me up, huh ?” The woman laughed and intertwined her fingers into his before slowly walking down the corridors. “I’ll get that test and then try one.. I’m kind of nervous....”
@derek-shephxrd
“Have you taken a pregnancy test?”
“W..What ? A pregnancy test ? I... I haven’t thought about this...”
“And.. Should I trust you this time or will I end hurt again ?” Meredith asked in a very painful tone. The woman didn’t feel strong enough to deal with another heartbreak. She looked down, staying still on her chair.
Derek reached over and took hold of her hand. He looked into her eyes. “You can trust me.” Derek told her. “I promise you that I will.”
Derek reached over and took hold of her hand. He looked into her eyes. “You can trust me.” Derek told her. “I promise you that I will.”
Meredith looked down at their hands and whispered. “You better promise because next time you hurt me, I’ll make sure that you stay in this bed for good....”
Derek couldn’t take his eyes off her. He nodded. “I will. I will leave her.” Derek said. “I am not going to have two going at once.” He told Meredith. “I love you, Meredith.”
"And.. Should I trust you this time or will I end hurt again ?" Meredith asked in a very painful tone. The woman didn’t feel strong enough to deal with another heartbreak. She looked down, staying still on her chair.
Derek watched her. He knew Callie probably would have contacted Addison. He sighed. “I know I am married. But that doesn’t change the fact that I realized I love you more than I love her.” Derek said.
Meredith sighed and looked at him. “You love me but you’re married to her !” She then shook her head. “You won’t leave her, will you ?” She looked at him in the eyes, feeling as if she was burning inside already.
“I came as soon as you called. How are you feeling?”
“Nauseous...”
“Yeah…pain meds normally do that to me.” Derek said. She watched as she went and sat down on the chair near him. He looked into her eyes as she sat there and then shrugged. “I don’t know. I haven’t asked anyone to tell her I am in here.”
"I'm sure Callie called her.” stated the woman before looking down. “So... You said you should’ve chosen me... But... What now ? I mean, this won’t change the fact that you’re married and that you gave her another chance....” She looked down at her hands and whispered. “I can’t suffer anymore.”
Derek lay on the bed. He was looking towards the window. He heard the door open and looked over. That was when he noticed Meredith there. “Hey.” He said. “I’m feeling a bit better.” Derek told her. “The pain meds are helping.” He said.
"That's good... You shall sleep soon then." She looked around herself and then back at him in the eyes. “I’m just glad to know that you’re all fine.” She slowly sat on a chair not that far from him and looked at him in the eyes, remaining quiet. After a silent pause, the woman simply said: “Is Addison joining you ?”
Derek was about to say something and then noticed she had already walked away. He then looked at Callie as she started to help. He sighed and let her help.
The young woman locked herself in an on call room and tried to process over the fact that Derek had told her that he should’ve chosen her. Her heart broke and the woman knew that she wouldn’t be able to fight anymore. She had to go and talk to him.
So after an hour, Meredith left the on call room and walked to meet Callie. She asked about Derek and the ortho surgeon led her to his room. She opened the door and looked at him, trying to show that she was strong, while she wasn’t. “How are you feeling ?”
“I’m saying that I should have chosen you.” He told her. Derek then noticed Callie. He looked back at Meredith.
This revelation made the woman freeze as she wasn’t expecting this at all. She looked at Derek and then noticed Callie helping Derek. “I.... I should go... I.... Have to make rounds....” She then turned around and walked away, her heart beating faster than ever.
Derek sighed. “I know I married her.” Derek told her. “But I think I made a mistake staying with her.” He said.
"So what are you saying ?" Meredith asked, not feeling comfortable. After all, if he was to hurt her once again, the woman wouldn’t ever talk to him again.
Derek knew exactly what happened last time he looked at her like that. “Like what?” He said. “I’m just looking at you?” He told her.
“Then stop… It’s already difficult to me to stay away from you. And Addison is awfully nice… I just… I can’t.” She sighed and looked at Derek painfully. “You chose her.”
Derek sighed. “Well, maybe I shouldn’t have chose her.” He said. Derek knew that he most probably shouldn’t have chosen Addison.
Derek sighed. “Well, maybe I shouldn’t have chose her.” He said. Derek knew that he most probably shouldn’t have chosen Addison.
"Then what, Derek ? You’re married to her... What are you gonna do ?” Meredith asked in an exasperated tone. She looked at him in the eyes.
