“Nirei!”

The desperate shout from Suo cut through the din of the fighting, and Sakura felt his stomach drop at the sound. Whipping his head around, he caught a flash of golden hair as Nirei collapsed to the floor. Immediately, Sakura moved to run towards Nirei, only to be stopped by the KEEL VIP still targeting him. Between blocking blows, Sakura focused on Nirei, who lay unmoving and clearly dazed. He thought he may have heard Suo shout again, and his frustration quickly turned to terror as he saw the KEEL member raising a rod to strike Nirei.

“No!” Sakura tried to break free and run to block the attack, but he was immediately hit with pain on the side of his head as he was struck, his defense completely forgotten in his urgency to get to Nirei. Falling to his knees, Sakura watched helplessly as the rod came crashing down on Nirei with a sickening crack.

What if Kaji hadn't made it to the fight with KEEL in time to save Nirei, and what if Sakura and Suo thought they had lost the chance to tell Nirei how they feel?

Since my last post about being sad my Bad Batch bracelet orders were slowing down, I’ve had several orders come in. I love you all, and I’m so happy to see that the TBB community is still thriving!

Got to see a panel with Dee Bradley Baker today, and when asked what Tech would have said to Omega at the end of S3 his response was (in Tech’s voice of course):

“Job well done.”

Yeah, I cried.

I made this super rough X-Wing Pilot helmet and painted it in a Sabine Wren style theme - it’s not my best work, but I took it with me anyway to a con where I met Natasha Liu Bordizzo… who is lovely and told me that Dave would like my helmet (my guess is due to the loth cats).

Never gonna get over the fact that Captain Rex spent FOUR episodes with The Bad Batch, during which time:

Tech nearly wipes out a runway construction crew, Tokyo Drift style

Crosshair picks 3 separate fights with regs, including Rex himself (and Rex socks him in the face for it)

Hunter literally looks Rex in the face after receiving orders and says “ehhh yeah no” and then proceeds to charge an approaching enemy squadron head on

Wrecker begs to explode just about every single building they lay eyes on

Hunter confesses to a Jedi general that he’s never submitted a single report in his life

Hunter also goes for a joyride by dangling from the foot of a giant winged beast from a single rappelling line

Tech later convinces them all to jump through the air onto the backs of said winged beasts in the middle of heavy enemy fire after summoning them with his self-made Animal Sound Spotify

Wrecker destroys like 100 battle droids in 3.5 seconds with his bare hands and laughs like a maniac the entire time

Crosshair, rather than let himself be shown up by Wrecker, destroys like 1/6 of the enemy forces with tiny hand mirrors and a single laser shot

The entire batch is sassing each other THE ENTIRE TIME (“don’t worry, Wrecker, I’LL hold your hand” “yeah…it’s a lift” “me and the boys will tag along, just to say I told you so”)

And after all of that, Rex looked at Echo and was like “yeah I think we’ve found your new home” and Echo was just like 😍😍

Paint it to look like one of the canon pilot helmets

I have a sneaking suspicion that Crosshair will always tell a different story about his hand when asked. Some that he's given:

Omega cut it off

Got cut off as punishment for trying to steal the Crown Jewels of Naboo

Knitting accident

Ventress ate it

Cooking mishap

A porg attack

Frostbite

Got caught in a rayshield

Slept on it weird and it just fell off

Cursed by a Nightsister witch from Dathomir

He cut it off himself to fake his own death

He broke it petting Batcher too hard

Lost a fight to a lawn chair

(Tech’s reason) He was tired of being the ‘more boring twin’ and had to be a pick me

(Echo’s reason) He wanted to be more like him.

(Hunter’s reason) He had such a crush on General Skywalker he did it to impress him

(Wrecker’s reason) He was trying to rescue a baby animal and it pooped on him, Crosshair was so disgusted he cut his hand off right there

Papercut.

Now Omega paints his nails twice as fast *or half as slow

For his new fancy toothpick holder prosthetic (it shoots toothpicks out of it)

Omega is the only one who tells the truth about it, and no one believes her cause it sounds just as crazy
