Some Bakugou x Reader I really wanted to write. I love to picture Katsuki as a yandere, so it was only a matter of time before I wrote this.
It was supposed to be easy.
You’d just wanted a breath of fresh air, to calm yourself down. The panic attack you’d had that night was one of the worst you’d had in a while. It felt like the stress of everything- school, your friends, your family, villains- was finally going to get you.
Everyone else was asleep. School would start in a few hours, but you hadn’t slept at all. Still, you couldn’t help but pace your room and cry. Your legs were filled with restless energy, unable to keep still and shaking all over.
So you left. You snuck out of the dorms, out of the school gates. You just needed to get away for a second. To take a walk without anyone you knew around to bother you.
You were only a few blocks from the school when you noticed someone following you.
They were tall, taller than you were anyway. The shadow following you had their hood up, obscuring their face in the darkness. No matter which way you turned, they kept pace behind you. Sometimes, it even looked like they were trying to catch up with you.
There were a few options. You could run, scream, try to find a building to hide in, or you could try to speed up your walk and get back to school without drawing any unnecessary attention from the mysterious figure. Both were good options, both pretty safe.
However, you were, well, you. You weren’t about to let this guy scare you into submission, even if they were a villain. Instead of playing it safe, you turned around to face them and yelled, “You got a problem, bitch?”
The figure chuckled and kept walking toward you, totally unfazed that they had been caught following a high school student. To be fair, you were visibly shaking, tears streaming down your face. You weren’t sure you’d be able to intimidate anyone like this.
“Relax, idiot. It’s just me,” The figure spoke in a familiar voice and suddenly you wanted to slap him.
“What the fuck is wrong with you, Bakugou?” You demanded, crossing your arms at him.
“What’s wrong with you?” He asked, removing his hood to reveal his face. He didn’t look tired at all, despite the fact that it was probably near four in the morning.
“Nothing,” You sneered at him, tears still on your cheeks, “I’m going back to the dorms, creep.”
You tried to walk past him, back to U.A., but Bakugou grabbed your arm as you passed, pulling you towards him. You pulled, hard, trying to release your wrist from his grip.
“Get off!”
“I took a video, you know,” He said, grinning in a way that made you shiver.
“I saw you leave, and I took a video. I’ll show it to the teachers,”
You scanned his face, looking for any sign that he might be lying, “You’re bluffing.”
Bakugou laughed, louder than he did before. His grip tightened on your arm, “You really wanna take that chance, Y/N?”
No. You really didn’t. You’d rather die than get in trouble. “So what do you want from me then?” You tried not to let your voice shake.
He smiled wider. “You’re gonna be my girlfriend, and you have to do whatever I tell you to. If you don’t, I’ll show your little video to the teachers. And who knows, maybe you were off on your little adventure to go talk to the League of Villains.”
Your eyes widened. He was not serious. He couldn’t be. “You’re… you’re not serious.”
“Fine then,” He said, letting go of you. You backed up, and he turned to walk away, “I’ll just go wake up Aizawa and show him the video…”
“Wait!” You cried, grabbing his arm and clinging to it.
He stopped and turned to look at you, “Yeah?”
You took a deep, shaky breath, “Don’t tell him. I’ll do whatever, just please don’t tell him.”
Suddenly, he hugged you close to him, whispering that he loved you, that he was so happy. You just froze, like he was a bug you hoped would fly away.
