there’s actually an insane amount of almost subconsciously pornographic content online dedicated to laughing at women who get “put in their place” somehow. like mra podcasts, the karen phenomenon, compilation videos of “feminists getting owned,” depp/heard trial content, tiktok street interviews mocking fat women for having standards… and like any time these things come up in discussion it’s always brushed over that there is an entire genre of internet content that male audiences use to assert, wrongly, their sense of superiority over women
