SOME MORE GAKUEN BABYSITTERS HEADCANON BECAUSE UGH!!!
Hi! It's been a while since my last post 😢 But now I'm back with some more of my headcanons, but this time, they're gonna be about the series' teenagers, specifically the six first-years in Gakuen Babysitters!
This post is mainly gonna be about the six's choice of major at university, so about 4-5 years from the story's timeline. Please enjoy!
Ryuuichi majors in Psychology, and specializes in Child Psychology. He has a talent for understanding children's emotional expressions, and as someone (and a brother to) who had gone through a major tragedy, he wishes to help small children process the world, all the ups and downs, around them. Everyone thought that he would choose Elementary Education though.
Hayato double-majors in Physical Education and Human Biology, the former because he's Hayato, and the latter because he knows he's good at natural sciences, as inherited from his parents. In the university's baseball team, he is a player (because he's the ace), a coach (because he learns this stuff), and a manager (because he also studies Nutrition, Physiology, etc.)
Maria majors in Educational Administration. Everyone assumed this is because she likes order and rules, but as someone with excellent academics yet limited social skills, she wishes to help change the organization of education she grew up in, into one that helps students become more well-rounded individuals.
Yuki majors in Elementary Education, a little bit influenced by both Ryuuichi and Maria. Though more importantly, this has everything to do with her experience with the toddlers in the daycare, especially as she could see the way they grow up to become their individual selves.
Tomoya majors in Law (because he's a siscon). But really, apart from his decent academic skills, he has the charm and the charisma (and the looks) needed to be someone who convinces others for a living. From his childhood experience, he naturally turns towards cases of child neglect, among others, wishing to be someone who could be there to support these children.
Chuukichi majors in Computer Science. Firstly, because the career path often pays well, and he can find more intern opportunities to continue helping his family financially. For another thing, he hasn't forgotten his childhood wish to build a game, and he would want to achieve that dream, both for his sake, and for his siblings' faith in him as well.
This takes a little longer than I would have guessed, but here you go! Some of my headcanons about the first-years' university majors. Hope you enjoy reading all this, and please look forward to more!
