I think a lot of people know me to be fairly political, and I was not saying anything on recent events, because I am not american and thus I wanted to give the space for shit to be said.

"He had a wife and kids", they're better off. They are better for having less of an influence over their lives that would lead to the reproduction of another person like him. His wife also does not have my empathy because your partner is a reflection of you, and he said some whack shit, and where was she? Exactly.
He was inherently a speaker of violent rhetoric and it will sound harsh, but as a person who believes in the empathy that man decried, mine has a limit and he has surpassed those limits.
We can be empathetic and realistic, the dichotmy exists. Hear me when I say:
DO NOT LET ANYONE FOOL YOU INTO THINKING THAT YOUR ABILITY TO BE KIND AND FORGIVING HAS TO EXTEND TO PEOPLE WHO OPPRESS YOU, PROFITS OFF YOUR OPPRESSION, ADDS TO IT, AND EVEN THOSE WHO PARADE TO FIGHT YOUR OPPRESSION BUT MOURN YOUR OPRESSORS.
Love and kindness always, but do not ever fool yourself into thinking that love requires you to declaw yourself. I will also say it, my ancestors did not mourn their oppressors and neither will I, Instead I will be focusing my attention on those who that man affected and those who need it.
