every so often i remember how awesome the modern interconnected multicultural world is. i grew up getting to hear fairy tales from all over the world. africa, asia, europe, america. everywhere in between. i can have bagels for breakfast, curry for lunch, and ramen for dinner without even leaving the city limits. music and art and philosophy and technology that originated thousands of miles and years apart from eachother have come together and interwoven into something greater than the sum of its parts. its hard not fall into despair when thinking about the horrors but god. god the wonders.

Last Song: Admittedly the last song I heard was on TikTok and I do not recall what it actually was, but I think it was a mashup of a 90s song with Megan Thee Stallion. It was really good.

Currently Watching: TV show wise, nothing. I don't really watch many TV shows. I will be watching Dungeons and Dragons - Not Honor Among Thieves, the 2000 box office flop. It's such a bad movie but it was my first casual introduction to D&D (I didn't know it was a TTRPG until college) I found it on DVD at a used book store yesterday for $5 and had to get it because it's a guilty pleasure.

Currently Reading: Still Kiki's Delivery Service. I haven't found the time to pick it up after my dog Boba was a jerk about letting me read it.

Current Obsession: Brain is still rotting about Eddie and Volt from Date Everything I'm afraid.

Currently Working On: My biggest project is Learning To Love Again and I am determined to finish this story!

Currently Wearing: An Eevee-lution shirt and shorts.

Last Google Search: It was about white spots on nails because the part of my nail on my ring fingers that is grown out kind of look like badly applied window tint that has bubbles under it. But it's only those nails and only the part that's grown out.

Alright, haven't been part of a tag game in a hot minute...

Last Song: "Am I Ever Gonna See Your Face Again" by The Angels. It was playing on the sound system at Woolworths so my dad and I were just *very* quietly whispering the audience participation "no way get fucked fuck off"s at each other, because obviously singing that with our full chests would get us kicked out and we needed dinner ingredients.

Currently Watching: Stargate Universe. I'm about three quarters of the way through the first season, and really enjoying it, which I didn't expect to because I have heard it spoken of as not well regarded. But then I also really enjoyed Star Trek: Voyager, and that's both a very similar concept and often panned in the fandom. What does this say about me? Eh, probably something, idk.

Currently Reading: Paradise Lost. Mostly for Frankenstein fanfic reasons, though I am quite enjoying it for its own sake, and will probably read it again because there are SO many references and little details about what's going on, and I definitely am missing stuff.

Current Obsession: Frankenstein. The book, the 2025 movie, the 1931 movie, Young Frankenstein, following The Modern Prometheus development on Patreon... I'm not going to say *everything*, because there is SO much Frankenstein media out there and I haven't even interacted, much less become obsessed with, a lot of it, but enough that I'm being unspecific. Oh I also bought "The Wanderer: Frankenstein's Creature" during the last big Steam sale, though I haven't got that far in it yet.

Currently Working On: Waaaaaaayyyy too many things at once. I've got five Frankenstein fanfics I'm actively working on (including a one shot from my Project Hail Mary crossover for @thymememoria), I'm focusing back on a few Pride and Prejudice fanfics I've barely touched for a year, I'm trying to improve my drawing skills and start posting a Frankenstein comic... and then seperate from all that I'm trying to get my uni archaeology society's newsletter back up to monthly updates, get us functioning more efficiently in general, etc, but that's irl stuff so I'm not going into more detail because I don't want to dox myself.

Currently Wearing: A pink stripy button up shirt, some brown slacks that used to be my grandpa's, suspenders from an op-shop, straw hat, work boots.

Last Google Search: Gengar, because my dad and sister were discussing what the most popular generation one Pokemon is, apparently it's Gengar, and I'm not nearly as big into Pokemon as either of them (had a Pokemon Go account for a few months in 2017, own exactly four cards I mostly like for being pretty, and have occasionally played Let's Go Eevee on my sister's Nintendo Switch. That's about it) so I had to look up which one that was.

last song: “Wait for Me” from Hadestown. It got REALLY stuck in my head a couple months ago when i watched a really sick animation, despite the fact i haven’t seen the musical. It’s a great song to write fleeing scenes with!

currently watching: nothing! i don’t watch tv or movies unless it really piques my interest. i did recently spend awhile watching an anime called “Witch Hat Atelier” at the behest of a friend, and it was very, very good! highly recommended. There’s also a non-zero chance i rewatch Slugterra or watch Coraline for the first time with friends in the near future.

currently reading: i can’t remember the title but it’s a mystery novel set in/around a house on a cliff by an author of the last name griffith who’s first name i CANNOT recall. i left it in the car last night or i’d check, hahah!!! also a fucking ASSTONNE of fanfic- the one i’m reading right now is a fairly old naruto/mha crossover, because those are always pretty fun even though i haven’t watched either.

current obsession: surprisingly the starwars obsession hasn’t resurfaced for quite a time, but i’ve been very very deep in a deltarune phase since march. honorable mention to the oc i’ve been obsessed with since i made her in 2021- she’s still going strong too, and has been adapted to the deltarune universe. it suits her well!

currently working on: several morbillion roleplays, assorted doodles, filling up my travel sketchbook, an in depth drawing of a friend, and a very fucking long roadtrip. project list: minecraft skin for a friend, prepare to resume college.

Currently reading: it's been a lot of fanfic recently... mostly batfam fanfic but there's some other fandoms too

Current obsession: probably minecraft, a bunch of my friends just started a server and we've been playing a lot, the first person to choose an area decided to live in a mesa/desert/badlands combo and the rest of us decided to live there too. For some fucking reason. I have to go to the savannah like 500 blocks away just to GET DIRT. I also have the most mobs/animals on the server I think (various livestock, 2 sniffers, happy ghast, 4 cats, 4 dogs, 2 parrots, 2 axolotls, 3 turtles, wip villager hall)

Currently working on: minecraft base... there's a big area that I'm gonna make green with moss and shit... in the mesa... and its surrounded with mangrove trees but I need to replace all the leaves with azalea leaves so they actually look green
