Since I have come to know that the two of us also share a common interest in one particular universe with the name of One Piece, I now stand before you with pleading eyes and one singular wish: a rosekiller One Piece AU! With this premise in mind, what headcanons do you have for our beloved murder husbands? Would they be pirates, marines or bounty hunters? Would they be Devil Fruit users? If so, would they have a logia, paramecia, or zoan fruit? Who are their allies? Are they even allies with each other? Do they belong to someone else's crew or captain their own? Where would they have been during important events, such as Marineford, Enies Lobby, etc.? And, most importantly, how high would their bounty be (if they have one)?
Please, do not hold back on me. I want to know everything.

i'm simply unable to deny you of such a request, sir. even though i'm sure the number of people who are interested in this particular crossover is exactly two, i'm absolutely thrilled to welcome you to this very exclusive rosekillerXOnePiece AU club!
(disclaimer: i'm only caught up until wano arc, so everything that happens after, i have a vague idea what's going to happen because i don't necessarily avoid spoilers, but i don't really know what's going on exactly.)
first and foremost: i'm making barty a pirate captain.
he comes from a very rich and influential family who rules a kingdom island on the grand line. his older brother disappeared (yes, i'm literally stealing belsh for this. why he disappeared? well, i'm gladly leaving that up to your imagination, dear friend, since he's your baby and now my mere hostage…) and bartemius suddenly was supposed to be the heir. overwhelmed by his father's expectations, he ran away from home when he was still a little kid. he stopped using his real name since then. (am i putting sanji's and vivi's arcs into a blender and projecting them onto barty? yes, and who wants to stop me?)
also, barty doesn't have devil fruit powers, and grew up to be the captain of his own pirate ship. and now you might ask, but noon, how is this chaotic, wet rag of a man supposed to be a captain? and my answer to that is, he's a captain like captain jack sparrow is a captain (to sprinkle some potc into the mix) iykyk.
no one in his crew seems to respect him really and rightfully so. at first glance, he might come across as eccentric and flamboyant and fun, but in reality, he's a sadistic little shit. they've tried to abandon him on deserted islands multiple times, but he's one lucky bastard who always comes back, and usually, he has a new addition to the crew in tow.
he collects all the freaks for his crew like infinity stones:
regulus, barty's first mate and his oldest friend. they grew up together as ship's boys (shanks and buggy, much?). reg, like barty, is an "orphan". before barty decided to become a captain himself, they served together on another ship, and ever since then, reg has been fiercely loyal to barty because he once saved his life when reg went overboard and nearly drowned since he can't swim. (badum tssssh 🥁) he has devil fruit powers that he's kept secret from the rest of the crew, and ever since barty saved him, he's kept reg's secret too. (what devil fruit powers, you might ask? well, that's something i'm not allowed to talk about.)
dorcas is the doctor. she's a warrior from amazon lily, incredibly smart, beautiful, and freakishly tall. (absolutely projecting robin's personality onto her, sue me.)
frank is a fishman and he's the shipwright. (frank-y the shipwright? really noon? … don't come at me, my brain brains in very simple ways.)
marls is the helmsman, even though they are tiny, they are incredibly strong. (their grandmother told them that's because giant blood runs through their veins.) they beat frank in an arm wrestle, and frank owed them money, which is why they went aboard barty's ship in the first place. (now they're staying for dorcas, not because of the money frank still owes them, plus interest!)
peter is a rat. like a literal rat barty found him after waking up in a barrel after a night of getting drunk, absolutely pissed, and his crew left him there. he ate the hito hito no mi (human-human fruit) so he's a rat-man and is the ship's cook. (get it?? ratatouille??)
remus has the powers of the inu inu no mi (wolf-wolf fruit) just for shits and giggles. he's old as fuck, ancient, and constantly complains about his bones hurting when the weather changes, so he's the navigator.
bellatrix showed up on barty's ship out of the blue one day and just stayed there. he is lowkey terrified of her, so he doesn't dare tell her to leave.
pandora is the newest addition to barty's crew and a musician. despite being mute, she plays the piano beautifully and possesses the powers of the toki toki no mi (time-time fruit). she is the only member of the crew whose bounty exceeds barty's, and her wanted poster reads "only alive".
now evan, my dearest boy, he's a former marine vice admiral turned bounty hunter. (something, something evan in the military, evan in a uniform… i simply can't get over it, and no, thank you, i'm not willing to uncover what that means.)
his main objective is to find pandora and bring her back home.
that's how evan and barty meet for the first time. after pandora joins barty's crew, evan is able to track her down, but the crew manages to escape, so evan continues to hunt them. and if he gets to collect barty's bounty of over 100 million belly, that's cool too, right?
but of course, that sets us up for some fantastic enemies-to-lovers potential. i can totally imagine barty constantly flirting with evan while being held at gunpoint, and either evan ignores him or it just goes right over his head, even though it's driving him crazy. (give him some time... he'll figure it out eventually. i'm sure of it.) this moment of irritation allows barty either to get away or get into evan's pants (dealer's choice).
i can also confirm that barty pulled the "you will always remember this as the day that you almost caught captain bar—" on evan before he threw himself off a cliff and fell to his certain death. evan almost jumped down after him, but barty’s crew was there just in time to save their captain, for some reason they're loyal to him even though they seem to hate him. (that would’ve been pretty stupid of evan, too, since he can’t swim either.)
evan and pandora come from an old and influential family that lived on an island in the new world. they are descendants of a long line of mad scientists who have long since passed, as the entire rosier family was wiped out by a buster call. the twins are the last survivors. they are the result of an experiment conducted by their father, in which he attempted to create highly advanced meta-humans with artificial devil fruit powers.
whether the experiments were successful or failed, and what evan's devil fruit power is, has yet to be determined. and why is he even supposed to take pandora back if the rosier family was supposedly wiped out? hmmm... questions.
time-wise i'm undecided wether all this is happening during or before the events of One Piece, as i also took the liberty to re-assign some of the canon devil fruits. (though i've heard rumors a certain brother is locked up in impel down's level 6: eternal hell.)
