I always come back to this once in a while and I came to a conclusion.

Maybe it’s not supposed to be figured out. Maybe the hints Gege gave us was complete bs so we’d stop asking. Such deeply personal words which would have lost its vulnerability and significance if revealed to an audience would somehow take away from such an intense moment. At least this way the emotional depth and extent of their profound relationship can be preserved.
