Here you see zebrafish eggs under a microscope. Zebrafish is a model organism and used for cancer, developmental disorders, sex determination, stem cell biology, oxidative stress, behaviour, epigenetics (study of heritable changes in gene expression or cellular phenotype caused by mechanisms other than changes in the underlying DNA sequence) and evolution research. Fertilized eggs can be distinguished from non fertilized eggs by using a binocular (a microscope, but less magnification).

I saw you are good at advice, I need one too. I'm studying french litterature right now but i really don't like it (my parents wanted me to study science but well, I decided to don't obey to them). I'm now regretting it, I would rather like to study sociology but its too late (french system). I don't know what to do after my diploma. HELP

Hi cupcakesfromparis! Thanks for your question and I am honored with your kind words! I am sorry to hear your study French literature could not interest you anymore, but kudos to you for the fact you followed your own path and not your parents! After you have your diploma, I think you have two options: finding a job or do a second study. If you want to do a second study you should study sociology, but I think you need to find a job since you ask me for help. Most people think a second study is a hassle, but if that is your passion (and you have the fundings), just do it! It will give you more time for self reflection. If you do not have the fundings, try to look for scholarships. In this case, google is your friend! I do not know how your study program looks like, but maybe you could follow a course or a minor on one of the subjects of sociology. This will give you also an advantage compared to other people who only took classes in French literature. After completing your French literature study you could look for a job with a social aspect. Remember: even with a job, you will never be finish learning. You will always need to take some extra courses during your career. Just choose courses with a sociology touch. I hope I helped you a bit.

Are you one of those persons that like to write cards, but you just can't keep you pen palls? In that case, postcrossing is a solution. The concept is very easy and simple. You send a postcard to a random person anywhere in the world and you will also get a card back from a random user in the world. At first I found it just funny and enjoyed the cards, but later I would get postcards with such funny and inspiring story, it really opened my mind about the world and it's different people. Song Ji Hyo, the only female running man member is an actress and god, she's a great one. I loved Frozen Flower acting, story and costumes. Just a warning: It's not exactly PG13. Quite a few explicit scenes.

Running man is a Korean variety show I'm watching since a couple of months. I'm familiar with variety shows, but wow this show BLOWS MY MIND [insert suju's mr simple]. The current concept: the cast+guests are divided in teams and must complete a series of hilarious tasks. In addition, they often do this in a landmark, so you will also learn a bit of Korea's sight seeings. If you love the Korean entertainment industry, you should watch this show since pretty much all the guests are quite prominent idols. The cast is wonderful and their interaction/chemistry is great.

A prion, pictured above, is an infectious agent comprised only of a protein in misfolded form. It lies in stark contrast to all other known infectious agents; even the simplest bacterium or virus contains nucleic acids (either DNA, RNA, or both) but amazingly, prions seem to have neither. Instead, they propagate by transmitting a misfolded protein state - meaning that when a prion enters a healthy organism, it induces existing, properly folded proteins to convert into the disease-associated, prion form. The prion essentially acts as a template to guide the misfolding of more cellular proteins; newly formed prions can then go on to convert more other proteins, triggering a chain reaction that produces the prion form in exponentially large numbers.

Prions are responsible for the transmissible spongiform encephalopathies in a variety of mammals, including bovine spongiform encephalopathy (BSE, also known as “mad cow disease”) in cattle and Creutzfeldt–Jakob disease (CJD) in humans. All known prion diseases affect the structure of the brain or other neural tissue, and all are currently untreatable and universally fatal.

My first Bento recipe: egg, rice, paprika, potatoes and chicken

Bento of today consist of ''golden threads'' egg, rice with paprika and Chicken Seoul.

Golden threads egg:

- beat one egg

- heat the pan with a bit of oil

- fry the egg mixture in the pan, like a thin crepe. Lower the heat, so it doesn't get brown. When the egg is done and yellow, take it out of the pan and cut in thin threads.

Rice with paprika:

- Cut three different coloured paprika in small cubes.

- Take cold, cooked rice and mix it with the paprika.

Chicken Seoul

- Cook the potato and mash it with some pepper

- Cut the  paprika in strips

- Cut the chicken breast thin.

- Use the chicken breast as a nori sheet and wrap the mashed potato and paprika strips in the chicken breast

- Roll chicken roll in some egg and breadcrumbs with the seam down. Repeat this proces

- Fry the chicken roll for 7 minutes at 180 degrees celcius. Fry the chicken roll with the seam down.
