Perhaps not the next download you were all expecting from me, but I updated my game yesterday and didn't have any of the cc I'm using for the save file in, but I still wanted to build... so ta-da! I figured a vanilla, basegame lot might be useful for everyone that's waiting on broken mods and cc or looking to test out the new pack in a vanilla save!
This build was inspired by @simmerrose-ccfinds who left a comment on my save file sneak peak a couple weeks ago asking about how many packs I used. And it got me thinking that most of my builds use all the packs and even a couple of kits. I find cc-free building limiting enough that not using the packs seemed crazy! But there's a bunch of great basegame builds out there and I thought I can do that too. They had mentioned they'd love to have one of those big rambling victorian houses, and I thought, why not do that?

This build is based off a real historic victorian floorplan I found when googling around and has everything your more well-to-do basegame sims might need. There's a parlor, formal dining room, sitting room, two bed chambers, a nursery, a painting studio, and even a bathroom with indoor plumbing! There's also everything the servant's of your more well-to-do sims will need including a spacious kitchen, butler's pantry, pantry, and cramped servant's quarters.
The build is furnished luxuriously and as of now is furnished for a family with at least five children, though feel free to move things around in the nursery. There is a crib for our newest most delightful life stage.
The build is fully playtested, make sure you moveobjects on when you place it. And feel free to do whatever you want with it, this is really meant to be a base for everyone that might have fewer packs, so make it your own! Though I do like to think my furnishing isn't too shabby.

Hey there, just letting y’all know I’m still alive. I always feel sad when an account I follow goes radio silence, and I’d hate any of my followers to think something bad happened to me.
It started as just trying to avoid spn spoilers, but then my ADHD butt felt like I had to watch all the seasons again before I started the new one and...I just never watched any of it. Which is something that happens to me a lot. Still haven’t finished Sherlock and Once Upon a Time for the same reasons. I just felt like I couldn’t get on Tumblr at ALL so...That’s where I’ve been.
Also, like literally everyone, the pandemic kicked my butt and I’m still feeling the effects on my mental health.
The judge who sentenced this sexual predator is Rosemarie Aquilina. Larry Nassar abused over 150 women, including Gabby Douglas, Simone Biles, and Aly Raisman. Judge Rosemarie made sure this predator pays the price for each and every one of them. Hella props to this badass judge. Judges around the world need to take notes.
This is a gif of Judge Rosemarie tossing a bullshit letter the larry nassar wrote about how “hard” it is for him to hear his victims testify. The level of badassary within this woman is untouchable.
I wrote a college paper once about gender dynamics in Disney films, and part dealt with the emphasis of androgyny in this film. Mulan is an outsider and unsure of her position of the world when she is adhering to both a total feminine role (the matchmaking scene) and a total masculine role (disguised as a male soldier) and it’s only when she’s able to embrace both sides that she is able to fully showcase her abilities and ultimately save the day.
The entire climax, from climbing the poles using sashes, counting on Shan Yu’s complete dismissal of women to get the Emperor to safety, to this scene where she literally uses a symbol of womanhood (within the movie at least) to disarm the villain of his symbol of masculinity and beat him at his own game, shows Mulan relying on the aspects of her femininity that she has grown up adhering to and adapting the tactical knowledge and fighting skills that she learned disguised as a male soldier to those aspects. The result is a unique and innovative view of the world and her course of action that leads her to save the day when the male soldiers failed and the women wouldn’t even have been allowed to try.
- Vegeta calls her by her Saiyan name, Eschalot, on occasion. When she asks what it means, he embarrassedly claims it’s nothing.
- Vegeta did not approve of her wearing the clothing she wears in GT, saying she should show a little dignity as Saiyan royalty. However, Bulma let her buy the clothes anyway, frustrating him.
- Bulla prepares to have a princess-themed birthday party and her father repeatedly tells her she doesn’t need to pretend to be a princess.
- Bulla wants to style Vegeta’s hair (ponytail, braids, etc.). He tells her “no”, but she does it anyway. He learns to tolerate it.
- Bulma can tell if Bulla is crying in the middle of the night without even hearing her when she suddenly feels Vegeta’s Super Saiyan Blue Ki rise from the bed.
- Bulla gets in trouble for hitting someone after being teased at school. Bulma scolds her. Vegeta says “Great job.”
- Bulla continuously tells her father to go SSB, so that they can “match”.
- When Trunks and Bulla get into a fight, Vegeta doesn’t stop them. When Bulma asks why, he says that he is “testing Bulla’s abilities”.
- Bulla puts assorted fun stickers on Vegeta’s armor. He wants to take them off, but can’t until Bulla’s asleep.
Try to deny it Vegeta...we all know you’re actually a big old softy.
What was also great was Vegeta telling them that if they want him to go they need to talk to Bulma and get her permission, if not he doesn’t plan to leave until the baby is born. You could literally see every one thinking….yup, I am not going to risk that.
Vegeta spends more time with Bra than anyone else and Bulma has to literally convince him to give Bra back to her whenever he has her.
Vegeta does not ever admit it but he can never say no to his daughter and occasionally Bulma
Bra’s first word is “papa” and Bulma is a little jealous but thinks it’s the cutest thing ever
Trunks occasionally envies the amount of attention Vegeta give his sister but still finds it adorable
Vegeta calls Bra by her saiyan name when he’s alone with her
When Bra takes her first steps, Bulma tries to get her to go to her but she automatically goes to Vegeta
Vegeta is still harsh with Trunks but by this time, their relationship is much healthier and they continue to do training sessions together
Bra wants to learn to fight like her brother and father which Bulma is fine with and Vegeta is oddly against due to being overprotective of her. He eventually gives in and trains her and she eventually learns how to go super saiyan
