Religious' aspect aside, the idea of waiting to be married before having intimate relations is rather healthy. I mean, it makes both partners build their relationship on friendship and non-physical intimacy instead of focusing on lust/passion.

Some of the recurring arguments when people divorce are like "we don't know each other any longer" "we have nothing to talk about" "the passion isn't here anymore" "the bed gets cold". Of course if you start a relationship based on your lust for your partner, the fire will lessen.

Favour the mind,not the body. Learn to trust your partner before deciding to offer them the most precious parts of yourself

always insane about Joseph and Jesus btw like did Jesus look like Joseph? in the way that people come to look like the people they love and spend so much time with? Did Joseph every doubt, even after the angels and the flight did he ever lie awake and think maybe he was a fool for believing in a virgin birth? did he ever resent Jesus because of the mockery that both he and his wife received? did he forget that Jesus wasn't his son because he was his son in all the ways that mattered? how young did he start teaching him how to be a craftsman? how much time did they spend together building and creating? Jesus saw his mother at the cross but did he think of the man who raised him as he died? did he think of his second father???

I've always thought that Joseph was just as important to God's choice of Jesus family as Mary was. Like, if Mary was going to be in an abusive or unloving marriage, God wouldn't have chosen her to be Jesus mother. He wouldn't have put Jesus into that situation. If he looked for a godly woman to be Jesus mother, he also would have looked for a godly man to be his earthly father. But yeah... I do think about those things.

Tradfems have the opinions they do because they are traumatized. Their backwards thinking is not their fault, it's a dysfunctional system that was probably introduced to them during childhood. The things they say can be harmful to impressionable people, so I want to warn all minors to stay off of the tradfem and anti feminism tags. As for the tradfems themselves, please consider that your point of view may be wrong--you are not inferior, and you are more than a housewife. You may think there's all the joy you need in that, but I promise it's not going to work out. Even if you do decide to continue thinking this way, please do not pass it on to the future generations and traumatize them just like you were. It's really creepy how "feminists" present this type of thinking as pro woman. Especially with the whole I'm not talking about the kinks part.
