For The First Time In Years//Myles&Zara

Zara sighed, tapping her pen impatiently against the paper as she tried to focus on her reading and note taking, the formulas and maths barely registering in her brain as she read it. She mentally cursed herself for taking the class that was so maths based but she needed it for her major, and unfortunately it came hand in hand with science, what she was really aiming for.

She was just rereading the paragraph for the hundredth time when she heard a knock, her pen immediately clattered to the table. It must’ve been a coincidence, it couldn’t have been him. He was probably out travelling, sightseeing, seeing the world without her. As much as she tried to reason with herself, it didn’t stop her heart from racing in her chest, almost shaking as she made her way slowly to the door.

She always tried not to get her hopes up, especially when the odds were against her like this - but it was always in vain. She always had too much hope, and it always resulted in letdowns, people never came through. Even if he was there there was an even smaller chance that he’d actually stay, he’d already run off once and there was nothing stopping him from repeating his actions. Maybe he’d just stopped by to say hi, visit the city and leave once more. Without her.

Taking a deep breath, she opened the door, revealing Myles. She couldn’t do much but just stare at him for a moment, it’d been years. A lifetime of him and he was taken away- he ran away so quickly. But it didn’t stop her from rushing forward, wrapping her arms tightly around him, burying her face against his neck. It was all so familiar, like home, and it killed her that he could leave again, leave her in the chaos of the city with nothing to hold to.

Myles stood there as she rushed forward and placed her arms around hiim. He began to tear up as he wraps his arms around her waist. He finally felt happy for the first time in years. Ever since he had to run because of his parents and that stupid marrage thing. He loves Zara but he was not ready for that. They both knew they were not ready. The male whispers into Zara’s ear”I missed you so fucking much,babe. I’m so sorry I ran away from you and never wrote or called. I needed to hide and stay hidden from my parents. They have no idea that I’m here.” Myles said to her.

For The First Time In Years//Myles&Zara

Myles had made it to New York from where he was hiding out two days ago. he had been hiding Leeds,England because of all the Arranged marriage drama stuff and all. So he was actually excited to go visit Zara since he got here but he was scared because he didn’t know if it would be the same kind of vibe or not since he just kind jumped on a plane and took off because of the drama he couldn’t handle. Since then he had been traveling in and out of the united states just to explore the world and see what it was like. When he finally landed in NYC he was actually happy with it because he knew this was his chance to explain to Zara why he just took off.

The male got dressed in a black tee,a black Young and Reckless hat,Blue jeans and some boots. He finally finished getting dressed which made him even more nervous because it had been three years since he saw her face. The one thing he did remember about her from the past was she was willing to hear people out. He hopped that she was still that way. Myles grabbed his keys,wallet and that kind of stuff.

He walked out of his place,closing the door behind him and began to make his way down the lower level where her place was or at least he hopped so and didn’t make a wrong choice and it’s actually in the upper level of this place they all had housing at. He began to look around for the number that was her’s. He finally realized where it was and he made a wrong choice and it’s actually upstairs.

Myles ran back up the stairs towards his place. The male walks down the hall from his place and began to look for the number again after he made his way down the hall to where the numbers began to match. When he found the numbers that matched the numbers her parents gave him,taking a breathe before he knocked on the three times making his signature knock hoping Zara would remember the knock.
