okay i don’t want to publicly reply to your post so im coming here to say it, but i actually did like listening to a lot of avid’s music. luckily before all the shit came to light I naturally shifted to different music after a bit, so I’m not sad about not being able to listen to it anymore, but I felt the need to put it out into the world that I did enjoy it at one point in time. shrug

Toric culture is knowing that your orientation will almost never be an option on a survey or a poll or a chart or anything.

It’s always, “hmm, which is going to be less painful today? Misgendering myself as a gay man or misgendering myself as a straight woman?”

I know I’m not a gay man. I know that. I actively avoid having to call myself that. Even when I was actively identifying as a man I felt really weird about being a “gay man”. But that’s “just internalized homophobia” to people. Because “gay is inclusive of enbies anyway”. I occasionally mentally flirt with the concept of straightness or considering myself “somewhat wlm aligned”. Other days that phrase makes me almost throw up. From not wanting its binary associations.

We deserve better than to have to misgender ourselves and we could easily have it if people just took a few minutes to add more options on their polls….

The books that don’t have a link are ones I know exist but I couldn’t find on internet archive/other searching.

If you have any links to these missing books, or books that I don’t have PLEASE lmk. Or if you have higher quality or pdf links (since some of the books are just screenshots of pages that I put together on a doc…)

The last two books in the once upon a twist series don’t exist.. they were cancelled or only a few copies were made (and those who have them aren’t saying anything). But I’m hoping to find them somehow if I have to message perdita finn myself. I believe there are a few chapters up somewhere so I’ll try to compile all that’s available
