What do you do for a living
i try my best
Take the time you need.

I remember you closing the shutters
And laying down by my side
And the light that was still slipping through
It was painting your body in stripes
I remember the trees summoned down
Like an archangel choir
And the ocean was all we could see
And I knew that I wanted you

“The classic-sitcom approach offered exciting opportunities for humor and levity, but filmmakers were very serious about getting the genre right. Director Matt Shakman says, ‘It was really important to us from the get-go that we weren’t parodying sitcoms. We studied tone and style from era to era. We wanted to make sure the actors were really fluent in all of these different styles.’ Cast and crew studied classic sitcoms from the 1950s through the 2000s. ‘We wanted to make sure that what we were creating was absolutely faithful to the original touchstone shows,’ says Shakman.”
WANDAVISION (2021)
“Am I in love?—Yes, since I am waiting. The other one never waits. Sometimes, I want to play the part of the one who doesn’t wait, I try to busy myself everywhere, to arrive late, but I always lose at this game. Whatever I do, I find myself there, with nothing to do, punctual, even ahead of time. The lover’s fatal identity is precisely this: I am the one who waits.”
