The Immortal On My Shoulder

Au where Xie Lian happens across the Heavenly Burning Drum while wandering and frees Yin Hanjiang from it.

Yin Hanjiang basically absorbs the power from one of Xie Lian's shackles and the two of them are now bound together.

Yin Hanjiang immediately tries to go after Baili Qingmiao but she belonged to the previous pantheon who Jun Wu murdered so he can't get his revenge.

He ends up just following Xie Lian around for centuries until Xie Lian's third ascension.

They end up becoming really close and Xie Lian takes Yin Hanjiang as his deputy.

FengQing are immediately suspicious of Yin Hanjiang

Jun Wu is also semi aware of who Yin Hanjiang is but refuses to address it because Yin Hanjiang is terrifying.

Hua Cheng is also suspicious of Yin Hanjiang.

I think Yin Hanjiang would be pretty accepting of Hua Cheng because they're very similar and Xie Lian also likes him.

Wenren E comes back during the Mount Tonglu arc because that where everybody is

Yin Hanjiang's identity gets revealed during the Mount Tonglu Arc by Mei Nianqing who gets so distracted he forgets to reveal Jun Wu's identity.

Except it was already figured out by Yin Hanjiang and Xie Lian pre third ascension who then make that fact known and fight Jun Wu who loses hard because Yin Hanjiang does not fuck around.

AU where the PIDW Peak Lords get forcibly transmigrated into MDZS and are assigned to write a better story. The original story is basically the same but Wei Wuxian just never comes back.

Shen Jiu - Lan Wangji

Liu Qingge - Jiang Cheng

Qi Qingqi - Luo Qingyang/Mianmian

Mu Qingfang - Wen Ning

Yue Qingyuan - Song Lan

Shang Qinghua - Nie Huaisang

Wei Qingwei - Jin Zixuan

They are all transmigrated at birth and extremely confused.

Song Lan/Yue Qingyuan has a broken system because of how he died and incomplete memories which means he has no clue what hes supposed to be doing.

Shen Jiu/Lan Wangji and Shang Qinghua/Nie Huaisang are Manipulating and Manslaughtering (Guess which is which).

Mu Qingfang/Wen Ning is scheming.

Liu Qingge/Jiang Wanyin had made it his mission to be the best shidi ever

Wei Qingwei/Jin Zixuan and Qi Qingqi/Luo Qingyang are slowly shutting Jin Guangshan out of the Jin Sect.

The other peak lords are not present because there is no information about them in canon and I dont want to make 6 basically ocs and decide who should be who. They can have names but thats all they get.

Based on the Untamed because that the only mdzs adaptation I have finished.

Venerable Trio

To the danmei fans out there, you've probably heard of the Demonic Trio which is Luo Binghe, Wei Wuxian, and Hua Cheng.

I propose the Venerable Trio made up of Wenren E (Devil Venerable Also Wants To Know), Yan Wushi (Thousand Autumns), and Mo Ran (The Husky And His White Cat Shizun).

All of them are correlated with demonic influences; Wenren E and Yan Wushi are demonic sect leaders and Mo Ran is *SPOILERS* a demon.

As I dive into researching signs of fear for my horror WIP, I wanted to share some of the most compelling and visceral reactions I’ve come across. Whether you’re writing a chilling scene or crafting a character’s panic, these 20 signs of fear can help bring tension and realism to your story.

Physical Reactions

Hyperventilating — sucking in air but never feeling like it’s enough

Chest tightens — feels like a weight or hands pressing down

Limbs shaking violently, knees buckling

Complete loss of muscle control — collapsing or unable to stand

Cold sweat soaking through clothes

Heart hammering so hard they feel it in their throat or head

Tunnel vision — the world narrowing down to one terrifying focal point

Ringing in the ears or sudden deafness, like the world drops away

Dizziness / feeling faint / vision blurring

Dry mouth — unable to speak or even scream

Uncontrollable Behavior

Screaming / sobbing / gasping — involuntary vocal outbursts

Panic run — bolting without thinking, tripping over everything

Clawing at their own skin / chest / throat — like trying to escape their body

Begging / pleading out loud even if no one’s there

Tips for Writing Injuries

✧ Broken ribs suck. You don’t just “walk it off.” Breathing hurts. Laughing hurts. Existing hurts. Characters with rib injuries won’t be doing heroic sprints.

✧ Concussions aren’t instant naps. Dazed vision, nausea, dizziness, maybe even personality changes, but they’re not going to collapse neatly like in the movies.

✧ Blood loss is sneaky. It’s not just about dramatic pools of blood. It’s dizziness, confusion, and the body getting cold as circulation tanks.

✧ Adrenaline lies. Someone can take a serious injury and not feel it until the fight’s over. That “I didn’t realize I was bleeding until later” trope? Very real.

✧ Twisted ankles are brutal. One bad step and suddenly running is off the table. Even walking hurts like hell. Perfect way to ground a chase scene.

✧ Burns linger. Even small burns hurt more than most people expect. Blisters, infection risk, constant pain, it’s not just a cool scar later.

✧ Dislocated shoulders = useless arm. Characters can’t keep swinging a sword or firing a gun. They’re basically fighting one-armed until it’s fixed.

✧ Shock is a thing. Pale skin, trembling, rapid heartbeat, and eventually disorientation. A character might not even realize how bad their wound is.

✧ Stitches aren’t magic. Getting sewn up is painful and recovery takes time. They’re not instantly battle-ready after a needle and thread.

✧ Scars tell stories. Some fade, some don’t. Some stay sensitive forever. Don’t forget the aftermath when the wound becomes part of the character.
