I think the reason to why I don't deal with a lot of body dysmorphia despite being trans guy is because being a biological male isn't my ideal body.

What I really want to be is a giant creature™ covered in white feathers with talons, the hind legs of a lion, giant owl-esque wings and a long neck that ends with a human face who gives cryptic advice to adventurers that wanders into my part of the forest.

You know what we need more representation of? Black gingers, cause they do exist! And it feels like that so many times when something gets rebooted, it's the ginger character who gets raced swaps(Acting like having all those blonds and brunettes are so necessary) but they can so easily kill two birds with one stone here! 1-2% of the world population are gingers, so it's not like we're aren't already bringing some diversity, my gingers babies can be diversity²

When I'm creating alien fan characters for other media: I gotta figure out the biology of the alien race, the terrain of their home planet, have their physiology make evolutionary sense to match that terrain, figure out puberty, mating rituals, religion, diet, etc.

When I'm creating alien characters for my original works: Hot alien babe with weird eyes/skin/additional features.

Bushroots been plaguing me with this song for a good few days now and this is the result

Gonna ramble about him so. Read if you wanna

I'm not the biggest bushroot fan due to people infantilizing him (dt17 included) but it's important to me that it's acknowledged that he is not innocent and he's not a good person

In his introduction episode the first thing he does once he gets powers is to go kill people, yes they did bully him and make him lose his job, however that's no grounds for murdering individuals

additionally, once he received the smallest ounce of affection, he proceeded to kidnap the only person who was nice to him and force her into a scenario she didn't want to be a part of. The fact these were the first things be thought of doing shows that he's been thinking about it even before he got his powers, he simply couldn't act on them because he's, well, a loser. The moment he felt some power he completely abused it

"I don't want to be a plant!"

"oh you'll grow to love it"

that's honestly awful.

that episode aside, him creating living creatures to be his wife/girlfriend is also incredibly strange and unhealthy behaviour. those beings will never know a life outside him, never know anyone else, their sole purpose is to be his partner, which again–is weird.

Then with Spike, he created him, and he refuses to acknowledge him and treat him well at all, which is awful behaviour considering Spike is also stuck with Bushroot. (and that's not even to mention that Bushroot doesn't even appreciate plants that much either, if that were the case he wouldn't abuse his dog-like companion)

all that is to say, 2017 ducktales claiming that he's "not a villain" is an absurd take. he's incredibly selfish and has an insane victim complex .

there's definitely more but also sighhhhh. bushroot is a very interesting character and his flaws and awful personality is what make him great, these things shouldn't be tossed aside for the 'misunderstood trope'. he's not that.

Here is my absolute favorite Darkwing Duck OC who I have for far too long avoided posting cause what can I say, I'm shy. Here is my current description of Victor Redfeather.

"Redfeather is the simple hot head with fire powers that match his fiery temper, with said powers coming from that amulet around his neck, and he somewhat fills the role of Launchpad to Negaduck. Sure, he got the fancy powers, the nice black suit, and the sarcastic attitude that would for sure fit the basic mold of an actual villain. But he just lacks a certain... innovation that a super villain needs to make the headlines.

This is why, despite his own reluctance to this, Redfeather so often accompanies other villains instead of going solo, certainly poor circumstances for a guy who seemingly hates everyone and everything, forced to be the stooge to other villain schemes in favor of getting some loot, whatever it be working with villains that he personally knows like Megavolt who will occasionally need an extra hand, or helping a D-List villain that he has maybe seen once on News and can't for the life of him remember the name of.

Redfeather most often works with/for Negaduck, which makes people a tad confused about why, since apparently the two can't stand each other without trying to rip each others' throats out. But beggars can't be choosers, and Negaduck knows that Redfeather is the least likely to close the door in his face if there is money involved so their team ups will definitely continue in the future.

So in simple words, he's a whiny little bitch who can't afford rent cause he spends a lot of his money on other things, like food, and unfortunately due to his villains powers being heat related, he got a fast metabolism that demands him eating a lot to have enough energy to commit those pesky bank robberies."

Oh, how I love him, I wish we could stay in the worst years of his life forever, his future is so...ugh, disgustingly hopeful and happy, but that's the far future. Right now, he's terrible and I like him like that.
