Introductory Post

Hello, everyone!

I may be speaking to the void here, but if the void answers back it's worth it. Call me Ivy (she/her), I'm a bisexual, and fem-leaning.

A little about my interests:

I'm into gaming. I'm kind of an amateur, I'm not particularly. I play Minecraft and Stardew Valley sorta regularly? My kind of games are either puzzles with a side of lore or cozy. My favourite game EVER is Blue Prince. 10/10 no complaints, it satisfied my every need. Currently I'm playing Chants of Sennar and Halcyon Days at Taoyuan.

I love anime. I don't have a specific genre I'm into for that (but I do require some fantasy element, I'm not gonna watch anything centered around plain modern world), but my favourites often end up being Slice Of Life. My favourite anime right now is Frieren: Beyond Journey's End. I've seen Bungo Stray Dogs, Vanitas no Carte, Moriarty the Patriot, Dungeon Meshi, and the mainstream stuff like Demon Slayer, Jujutsu Kaisen, etc. Haven't seen One Piece and don't plan on it. My first anime was Death Note.

I'd die for GL and BL content. Mo Dao Zu Shi is one of my biggest obsessions, but it's for more than just the danmei aspect. MDZS is just amazing in every way, from the characters to the themes. I'm looking for GLs to watch and read, if there's anything you're obsessed with please send me recs.

My hobbies include reading, crochet, baking, sketching, and journaling. I'm planning to learn to play an instrument, like Guitar, but that's not in near-future.

My music taste is rather soft (cozy). I mostly like instrumentals and anime music, honestly. My favourite is the donghua version of Wangxian (Xianyun). After that is Sirima Siri (cover version by Bakemono Gurung). And then just list all the op/eds of whatever anime I've seen, chances are that I love it.

I'm into learning languages, so if you're a patient teacher please hit me up, you're very much needed. I took French in early highschool, I know basics. Mostly I wanna learn Japanese, Dutch, Finnish, Russian, Greek, Latin, and Spanish, but other languages also interest me.

Anyways, that's it about my interests, you can dm me about anything! I'd be more than happy if you share some of my interests and want to talk about them. Blue Prince deserves everything. The layers to the story and lore run so deep and nearly everything has a meaning, hidden or not. It continues to impress me at every turn. Getting to room 46 is just the tip of the iceberg.
