01. Why have you chosen Mystic Haven to pursue a career with?

It is, quite simply, the easiest place for me to be me! I’ve found a supervisor that I can respect and who let’s me run my club the way I see fit. I’ve found a comfortable, quiet home that’s great for exercise, leisure and most importantly a good time. I’ve found a, pun intended, haven in the forest to conduct business without the burdens of travel. It’s the perfect fit for me, and I believe I’m the perfect fit for it!

02. What do you think you can bring to the team, in terms of skills or attitude?

I have a certain level of sophistication I find overtly lacking in the present staff, even despite my many years of service at the resort. I try to bring some class to the table, but also some smiles. I do what I can to aid in the finances wherever necessary, but most of all I want everyone to have fun: guests and staff alike. I’m just happy to do my part to make sure everyone’s living their best life.

03. Finally, here at Mystic Haven Resort, we believe change is inevitable and something to embrace. Do you believe you can roll with the changes in your life, or are you stuck in your ways?

Depends on the change, I suppose. I like my life. I, like any man, likes to be in control of his destiny. I like to have a say. Should something dramatic occur, well, then I suppose it’s beyond my grasp. But I’ve gone to great lengths to be the master of my fate, and to better the fate of others. I may not be as quick to submit as others at the resort.

HEADCANONS

1. Robin first came to Mystic Haven as a guest for an archery contest over 10 years ago. He had made a game out of using his tournament winnings to benefit the less fortunate in fun and unique ways. After several stays at Mystic Haven, and more than a few impressively questionable wins in the contest (gaining the attention of Big Mama) Robin realized he could continue his operation without having to travel the country. Here, the rich come to him, and he gets to bask in the smiles of those he helps. Plus, every night is a party. 2. A true music addict and a terrific dancer, which is how he talked Big Mama into putting him in charge of the nightclub. He has a very large collection of record albums that he is always adding to, and can at times be a bit of a music snob, depending on the artist or song in question. Some of his favorites are on display in the club as decor. 3. Robin is professionally trained and excels in several individually competitive sports including fencing, karate, capoeira, boxing, and wrestling. He also is an excellent swimmer and gymnast. The sport he excels at, however, is archery and he has yet to be beaten. 4. Robin is a master of disguise to the point that it is dangerous. He revels in being a trickster; getting away with things a normal person couldn’t. He’s always trying to top his last disguise or trick, and for no other reason than a good laugh.

‘Cause you were hiring? And my last job kind of fell through so like, onto the next thing right? I dunno, it’s a nice resort and shit, and you got free housing. Also like, why does this need to be so dramatic? I’m literally applying to clean tables like calm down.

02. What do you think you can bring to the team, in terms of skills or attitude?

I can put dishes in a big bin and wipe down a table. I do what I’m told at work, cause like, there’s no reason not to unless you wanna make your job harder and who wants to do that? Not me!

03. Finally, here at Mystic Haven Resort, we believe change is inevitable and something to embrace. Do you believe you can roll with the changes in your life, or are you stuck in your ways?

Ya, I was a fucking carnie. Sorry. I was a carnie. So like change is part of it, new towns, new things all the time. I’m down for whatever, s’long as I get days off, at least one a week would be great.

HEADCANONS

1. Ever since he was a baby, Barrel has never been far from his two older siblings. He’s always relied on them for support, advice and getting out of trouble, to the point of the trio being a bit codependent on each other. Living on the streets since they were teenagers forced them to be. However now as adults, the trio have separated a bit, going their own ways. Barrel isn’t entirely sure how to do life not following after his siblings, he tends to feel lost and alone without them by his side. 2. Throughout his life Barrel has been referred to as “dumb”, something that as a child he was adamant was not true. As he got older though, Barrel learned the advantages of being seen as dumb, expectations are lower and you can get away with a lot more claiming ignorance. Because of this, he tends to present himself as a bit of an idiot. While he’s not the smartest guy and only has an 8th grade level education, he is very resourceful and clever. 3. Barrel barely acknowledges that his given name is Barret. He has never actually been called that, except his sister messing with him. A large part of it is due to the fact that the trio were abandoned at a children’s home when he was barely one year old, and Barrel refuses to acknowledge a name that was given to him by people who would abandon him. The only reason the name has come up again in his life is his job, apparently when you have a “real” job with taxes and actual paychecks you have to use your “government name”.

In celebration of our opening month, we’ve just decided to suspend our current acceptance dates for all of December, and accept as soon as we’ve gotten a chance to both look over the app, and make the necessary graphics! You can still reserve characters, and if you reserve a character, you then have 48 hours to submit an app, even if someone else submits one first. Reserves mean that we won’t look at apps without yours as long as you get it in without your window!

Anyone looking to partake in the wine tasting must be 21 years of age or older, with a valid ID. Get up close & personal with some of our wildlife ambassadors with all new shows and presentations, held by our trained animal keeping staff with the aim to educate and entertain. I spy with my little eye... A scavenger hunt! That’s right — if you’re looking for something to keep yourself busy with, well, you’ve found it! Employees at our resorts will be handing out clues to those interested, so be sure to stop in and ask! We’ll be holding daily live performances, panels, and workshops for your enjoyment; please be sure to check the Mystic Haven app daily for updates, so you can plan your itinerary for the day with ease! Additionally, all guests & resort employees will be entered in a sweepstakes, the winner of which will receive a complimentary room upgrade to a presidential suite, a week of comped merchandise, food, and drinks, and a $500 gift card to use at their leisure! Long answer: I desperately needed a change of pace because the job I was at was literally sucking my soul out through my eye sockets with the lack of fuckin' heart. You ever spend your days icing the same lackluster cupcakes and donuts day in, day out for a corporate shill of a company? No? Highly recommend if you want a fast pass to hell. Short answer: maybe they fired me and this was for enough away that the blacklist wouldn't reach. Who knows.

02. What do you think you can bring to the team, in terms of skills or attitude?

Talent. I'm drippin with it. I may not be the most eloquent when it comes to presenting who I am and all that but I know what I'm doing and I'm good at what I do.

1. Randall grew up left handed but was forced to learn how to use his right hand in class by a very traditional teacher. He still thinks about that man daily. Resentfully. 2. He was a high school theatre star and will slaughter anyone who dares try to remind him of it. He loved it. 3. He learned how to bake from his paternal grandmother. She was the first person to see past his reactive personality and find the person behind the mood instability.
