Sorry if this makes you uncomfortable. I chose that route bc I don’t like the idea of shipping Native America with nations like England or France given how those guys treated Native Americans + Canadians.

I don’t want to do a poly relationship nor ship one guy those two with her, and I don’t want to say that England or France assaulted Native America bc its something they (literally) wouldn’t do.

But men from their nation(s) would, and that’s the sad truth.

I chose this sad route not bc it’s “realistic” but bc i want to reference what Native American + Canadian women went through during the settlers era. Bc it was not just assimilation, force marriages, forced to follow a religion, etc.

It’s much more then that

I also don’t think shipping Native America with England or France or both is rlly my cup of tea bc it’s more like colonized x colonizer and I don’t fw that.

Again, I’m really sorry if the whole story makes you uncomfortable (I rlly hope this doesn’t sound like idc :c), I get that. Reading or listening to stories like this also makes me uncomfortable too as well as thinking of Native America but I wanted to make implications to what women like her would go through.

Yes, I do agree that making this kind of story for a character does seem not really appropriate for a story like Hetalia. But sometimes I kinda wish it would talk abt serious things but then again that would defeat the purpose of the series bc the whole thing is meant to be unserious (and I love that!), but then again…how can you make a joke abt killing, and pillaging and forcing to assimilate Native Americans + Canadians.
