I don't have a schedule - I write when I feel good and inspired, and only stuff I 100% like myself. no one beta reads my work, I'm kinda reserved with my writing even when I know I happily publish stuff with embarrassing spelling mistakes and grammar oopsies I might or might not notice only later

Whatever I write will be flawed, will contain errors, and will take a while; but shit, it's still made by me and me only. So this is the mandatory note that I do not use AI and despise its use in creative works

I guess it's already obvious but I play a lot of video games and like horror (although I can be really squeamish)

don't know if it's a curse or a blessing to be able to whip together the first chapter of a new fic within two days when I have other fics begging to be finished first, but god damn when something feels inspiring it sure lights up a fire under my ass.

If you're a new writer and you're asking yourself "is this too personal, is this too much, will people think this is weird" that feeling is the exact location of your actual voice. The stuff that makes you want to close the laptop is the stuff nobody else could write. The safe version is always worse. Always. I have never once read something and thought "this would have been better if it was a little less honest." go further. It's always go further.

ooofff guess who caught the flu once again. I don't get it, this is the third time within the last year and usually I'm very rarely sick in the first place.

also I did some counting: I have six new fics (four new fandoms) coming up and I've come to the conclusion that I simply can't write for just one thing at a time. I need multiple projects. it's equally frustrating and messy as it is necessary.
