right so i would base the mech teams based on the season 8 groups!

- boatem mech team: grian and either pearl or scar are the pilots, while mumbo and impulse are engineers/inventors. the mech has wings and is known for being able to fly

- big eyed mech: piloted by tango, keralis, and bdubs. (or just keralis and bdubs with tango beiung the engineer/mechanic of the team). the mech has no wings, they constantly squabble with the boatem crew over wings vs. no wings

- iskall/etho mech: they engineer and pilot their own mech, which is very funky and has a lot of weird hidden features and unusual mechanics

teams im not yet sure about:

- false/gem/stress team?

- joe/cleo?

- ren and doc both have prostetic limbs. im not sure yet if they have their own mech or if they are engineers for the other teams

- hypno and jevin could be another team

wels could be a jump-in/spare pilot. Zedaph is a mad scientist and may or may not be thinking about a game show called "is that Kaijuu looking at me?". TFC has been involved into previous Kaiju attacks and is now the veteran advisor. Cub helps organize the entire organisation.

Xisuma is somewhat of a leader and commands all missions. He used to be A Jaeger pilot, but since an incident that took out his co-pilot he has to wear a helmet at all times to help him breathe. In a dangerous situation he could jump in and Co-Pilot with any hermit, but that has never happened before. There's a mech hidden in the farthest hangar of the building that he hasn't piloted in years....
