Another scary pokemon, this time its a personal favorite, Ninjask. I really wanted to make him look as realistic as possible so featured lots of reference from cockroaches and Cicadas.
I got another shiny! :D This time it only took just over 2hrs and the stats aren't too bad either. *Happy noises*
I rage so hard! Everytime! >:0
Without hardship, we wouldnโt have become the people we are today
I saw something on Twitter and what I was imagine when that were happenedโฆ
Decided to practice coloring/shading on Photoshop for the first time! Think my Larvitar turned out pretty cute. :>
I don't really know how to use a drawing tablet or photoshop (nor do I draw often), but this is my first attempt. <3 Have some silly Hop, Leon and Raihan!
(Heights and stuff are all weird because I used a stock photo for practice <3)
Itโs time to activate itโฆ

i remember now. what calyrex reminds me of
I'm going to be talking about Pokemon Sword & Shield spoilers, so read at your own risk.
So I've just defeated Marnie in the Pokemon League and I feel like rubbish. I take all of her Pokemon out in 1 hit. Zero challenge. I face Hop and defeat him just as easily. I feel even worse because I've seen him in his ups and downs. How he's questioned his ability as a trainer and how much effort he's put into improving himself.
He's changed his team constantly in hopes of finding the synergy he's looking for but my character is always there to stomp him with ease. As a character, he has a lot of enthusiasm and his heart has always been set on battling his brother in an official league match. Even after every loss by my hand he always compliments me and never hesitates to defend me when needed. So there I beat him the camera slowly panning behind his back. His head slightly down and fists curled.
He pumps his right fist downward in frustration and I'm honestly heartbroken. I empathize with him because he's had his heart set on this dream on his for many, many years. I can guarantee he would have made if farther if it wasn't for my emotionless character. If his Pokemon and their levels would a cape when I do that'd fix everything. Why lock every NPC at such weak levels while I breeze through literally everything? It's just not fun to me and it makes everything my rivals fight for a complete joke.
I just got emotional thinking about it it all after defeating him because as cheesy as this sounds, I do see myself in him. I shed a tear for a Pokemon character... I feel dumb for it but I also don't care.
You know, personally I would have loved if the main character and Hop faced off and his Pokemon are like, 80+ in level and you're supposed to lose. The game just kicks your ass. (Maybe it saves right before you fight and the championship limits how many revives and potions you can use).
Finally he goes off to fight Leon, after years of waiting and dreaming. And wins. And the main character cheers him on and supports _him_.
Afterwards all the Eternatus stuff happens (maybe in the future, a year later), you both deal with that together, get the legendaries and _then_ you challenge him for the championship. You win and it's not really hard feelings as much then. He got to prove himself finally and then you did too.
But yeah, I totally get your feels. Felt bad fighting Hop the whole game.
