I've found that a lot more people care that you're a paraphile online than in person. So many of my irls know I'm a necrophiliac and they just... don't care. But people online will tell you to kill yourself or get help. Guess what, I got a sex therapist, and she said its not even impacting my life enough for me to need help with it! I think a lot of people online don't understand that paraphilias arent something that can be cured, and sometimes don't even need management if you're not in distress or at risk of action due to it. Recovery is only necessary if its harmful to yourself or others, and thats a conclusion i've come to THROUGH therapy, so I don't understand why antis will tell me to get help. At least my irl friends are chill with it.

My hot take is I genuinely don’t think necrophilia should be nearly as stigmatized as it is. Necros aren’t going out killing people to get off, and the things we get off to are already dead, it ain’t like anybodies getting hurt
