“The ocean or mountains have never deprived themselves to become small. Neither should I.”
I’ve been journaling in my recovery journal! And also, I’ve recently started to have chocolate protein bars which I know is not essentially a treat or dessert; but it kinda feels like a thing to be celebrated.
“It doesn’t matter what everyone else is doing. It doesn’t matter what everyone else has accomplished. What really matters is that you focus on yourself and how hard you are chasing after such dreams. Don’t compare yourself. Don’t belittle yourself. See yourself as who you are and keep your mind in your own head.”

Here’s to enjoying the little things. Here’s to enjoying my perfectly matching jumper and scarf. Here’s to enjoying the heart-shaped coffee I got. Here’s to enjoying the nice warm feeling after taking a shower when you’ve had a long day. Here’s to accepting that it’s okay to take it day by day. Here’s to accepting that it’s okay to prioritize your mental health.
Positive Ed Recovery Affirmation
we can’t fast forward our lives to the good parts, and maybe that’s a good thing.
we get to go through the highs and lows of life. we get to learn lessons and gain knowledge from the hardships that we go through. we get to pass this knowledge along to those in need. we get to grow and learn, and become better people through the ups and downs life gives us. we get to appreciate the good moments after a bad moment has passed.
though fast forwarding to the good part of my life seems tempting, i like where i am right now. i will relish in the unknown, the tides, and the light. when those good times come, i will be more appreciative...and ready.
You can’t live a full life on an empty stomach.
