Lucia as a child of Hecate

In the au Lucia has know her connection to Greek mythology since she was very young due to Mary having more monstrous features and seeing through the mist and her parents didn’t know what to do with Mary. Until they sent her away thinking it was for the best.

Later both of Lucia’s parents get killed my monsters and Lucia manages to escape by accidentally using her magic. For around a year after that she was homeless and wandering around from place to place before she landed in camp half blood and got claimed by Hecate shortly after she arrived.

At the current point in the au she’s been at camp halfblood for around 6 months.

Jrwi x pjo au pt.1

Everett as a child of ares.

I’ve genuinely been going insane about this au over the last couple days. His rings are made of celestial bronze and expand out to form his gauntlets and he received them when he was born from his father but after that ares never really interacted with him or his mother.

He grew up knowing that mythology was real since he lived in a community of people who could see through the mist that basically worshiped Demeter and cared for the nearby nymphs in the forest they lived in away from the rest of society. Though at the time he didn’t know his father was a god.

When he learnt his father was a god and that he was a half blood he got into an argument with mum and basically ran away he thought the best thing he could do was go out on quests and fight monsters and not hide away in their small community.

He made his way towards camp being guided by a group of older halfbloods and some satyrs. He spent around a year and a half being in the Hermes cabin unclaimed. He meets Lucia around 9 months after he joined the camp and meets Jin after the year and a half when he finally gets claimed at the same time as Jin when they both get distracted and start fighting during a game of capture the flag.

He’s also highly interested in poisons and medicine to see if there’s any ways that he could harness their powers. (Basically his beast powers)

Talking about my low empathy Everett headcanon because I also have lower levels of empathy and lowkey I think it fits his character a lot.

I don’t really do much analysis of anything so this is just me having fun.

I think everett lacks a lot of emotional empathy like he saves trey because its what he should do and what he thinks is right but he doesn't take into account the emotional impact that turning trey into a hybrid will have and what his actions in general have. I think he still cares about others but he can only see from his own perspective that doesn't give him much room to like adjust to the emotions of others, he genuinely wants jin and Lucia to be with him and understand because even though he does lash out at them and is stubborn with them he does care about them. He doesn't really have the emotional understanding to fully explain his viewpoint or see others viewpoints because in the case of his view its not fully explainable with just logic which is how Everett sees it even though the reason for his perspectives and beliefs come from a place of fear and emotion.

I think that he also struggles to understand his own emotions that he may be feeling deep down but since it's something so deeply ingrained in him with his beliefs and his more stubborn personality doesn't help him connect with other causing him to isolate himself and antagonize others. We see him do this with the rest of team sigma in episode 3 when they are discussing everett losing control in the hunt in episode 2 as well as the exam in session 0. He blames others weaknesses and deflects on his own because if he doesnt have these beliefs that he thinks will help him survive in this world and keep him from dying then what else does he have except his fear

He struggles to be able to communicate properly with people so much because of this. Hes low empathy with a a very bluntly honest way of communicating. The reason why he is often so honest and upfront with his beliefs is because i dont think he sees a point in lying about them because to him hes in the right why should he ever hide what he is right about and it’s something he believes everyone should know and follow. Hes also very honest when it comes to what he does with Jin and Lucia. He gives them one chance to leave and tells them that if he ever sees them again then hes not going to hold back anymore and he does just that.

I actually loved drawing these. I put each of them in a certain part of the episodes. Like Jin is at the start of episode one and Lucia is at the end of episode 6, Mary is also from episode 6 and Everett is from episode 5.

I absolutely love this campaign and had so much fun adding details from these episodes in the background from the episodes and official art.

I got the art book for rise and omg it’s so good I’ve been reading it between my revision breaks and the art is so gorgeous, I need to do some studies from it because the way they use colour and line work is peak. I wish there were more rise episodes out there
