I treated everything you say as the truth, but all you told were lies,

The small star that didn't shine today, did shine yesterday

It shone brighter than any other star,

It burned itself down to give light to others.

That big beautiful star took away all the credits.

The small star still did its best.

The efforts are of no use, as it no longer exists.

All everyone see is that it didn't shine.

Au revoir

I remember the day I ran into you and spilled my coffee all over my white t-shirt. Our first ever run in. I would be lying if I claim to know how we came to this point, from strangers to friends to lovers to friends I guess? Don’t get me wrong I cherish all the memories we have made, the fights we had, the stupidity we did, moreover the bond we shared. I just don’t know how we ended up here where you have to choose between me and that partner of yours. Was I always this disposable? Will you consider the long journey we have made together? Or even try to talk to your partner that you can’t make the decision? I thought not, after all I was just a mean to your end. What hurts that you won’t consider our friendship. What hurts is that our friendship was disposable. What hurts is that you lied to me to never leave me when I had my first heart break. Anyways I understand your needs and respect your decision. I just hope you along with everyone else also respect my decision to no longer be the person you once knew. For this is a farewell to the naive, innocent, trusting, gullible and honest person who has zero value in this world. Don’t claim to know me the most. Don’t claim to understand me because the person you knew and understood is long gone. The person before you is mere flesh and blood, a book with no emotions in those eyes, a book with no key, a punching bag sustaining every punch thrown its way.

You promised me your company when I would be alone

You promised me my happiness when my happiness would be lost

You promised me your word when I would be wordless

You promised me your hand when I would fell

You promised me your food when I wouldn’t have any

You promised me comfort when I would be at discomfort

You promised me safety in your arms when I would feel unsafe everywhere else

You promised me to advice me when I would be in need

You promised me forever when I was not sure for the second either

You promised me your promises when the others just broke their others

Despite all this I stand here all alone before two diversions

Waiting, waiting for to you to come to fulfil the promises

Years have passed when you made your last promise

Years have passed when I last saw you bidding you goodbye

Years have passed when I last smiled as you had promised

Years have passed yet I stand here with flowers in my hands

The little jokes that you and I share

The little memories that you and I made

The little pang of jealousy I felt when you would talk to another person

The wanting to talk to you all the time

The smile I had when your name was taken

The hurt I felt when you walked away

The warmth you brought to my heart when you came

The way you continuously looked at me

The long walks that seemed short when I was with you

All rushed back to me when I saw you up there

When you made your vows to someone that’s not me

Once again Let's just forget everything and start fresh, Let’s just forget and forgive each other, Let’s just spend days and nights looking at each other once again. Let’s talk the way we use to long time back Let’s fight and shout but lets talk Let’s just move past our winter and return to our summer once again Let’s just forget the fights we have had Let’s just accept the flaws of each other  Let’s just break each other’s walls Let’s just complete each other once again Let’s just smile when the other smiles Let’s cry when the other is hurt  Let’s accept and give the future we deserve Let’s just confide in each other the way we once use to….
