Autumn reminds me that some things have to fall for new seasons to begin.
You must master the art of believing in yourself. Nothing will propel you more forward in life than unwavering belief in yourself and your capabilities. This means rejecting any thoughts of self-doubt, of glorifying the input of others over your own, of seeing yourself as beneath others, or putting the considerations of others over your own.
You want to develop the type of confidence that is rooted so deeply within you that nothing can shake it. Having that type of confidence will keep you focused on the goal or mission and will keep you going when things get tough. It won't allow the opinions of others to skew the path you've decided for yourself.
The only person you should be in a competition with is yourself. Your competition is not other people. It’s you challenging yourself to become a better version. When you start trying to compete with other people, you are competing against their own race and fighting a losing battle. Their struggles, their limits. Their strengths and weaknesses. None of them are meant for you. That’s their own test. Focus on your own story and your own growth.
Plan to outdo your past, not other people. When you compete with yourself, you both win.

Healing taught me that honesty wouldn't ruin a real thing. Speaking about your feelings won't lose you anything worth having. Setting boundaries won't scare off proper people. & authenticity won't cost you genuine relationships.
you deserve people on your level. you deserve people who can reciprocate your energy. you deserve people who go out of their way to love you like you do for them. you don’t need to constantly be the giver in relationships and/or friendships that leave you drained at the end of the day.
I'd go anywhere with you

alignment comes from:
– the choices you make every day – choices that reflect your values – telling yourself the truth even when it’s uncomfortable – holding firm to what you will and won’t allow – trusting your first instinct – refusing to abandon your own needs – choosing peace over chaos – picking evolution instead of repeating what feels familiar – keeping promises you make to yourself – choosing long-term clarity over short-term comfort – protecting your mental and emotional energy – not performing for approval – walking away when something feels off, even if you can’t explain why – making decisions from your future self, not your fears – surrounding yourself with people who bring out your best – giving yourself permission to outgrow what no longer fits
