you were awakened by foolish mortals and are now on a rampage. you're kind of just mad they interrupted your nap. you have an ever shifting, grotesque form with a thousand tentacles and like gazillion eyes. your mouth is full of sharp teeth and is basically a portal to another dimension, falling into which causes a horrible agonizing death. and you know what that means....you're the sex symbol of the internet! thousands of people will willingly jump in!! who knows why! just take this as a consolation prize for when you're somehow inevitably defeated by the hero and the power of love or some other bullshit

("The power of love or some other bullshit" is exactly what she thinks about anything feelings related hahaha)

Here's what I got:

Narrative foil

you are the perfect opposite of the hero in most aspects, including your morals. in others, you seem more like their mirror, a twisted reflection. you complement each other. you are the yang to their yin, the moon to their sun. in some other life you could've been friends. fanfiction would say even soulmates. you could say your relationship with them is a little bit fruity. "you and i are not so different after all" you tell the hero... as you're dangling them off the roof. you are evil, after all. you'll probably die very dramatically by their hand but in a very unintentionally homoerotic way, so it's a win some, lose some kind of situation

I love the fruity part, that's very Alim. Twisted reflections and what could have beens are a theme with him as well... maybe I should write that fic where my nice Alim meets my evil Alim 🤭

kind of sickening that irving sharply turns down the idea of amell/surana being made tranquil during their harrowing only for them to immediately be faced with irving signing off on jowan being made tranquil. the two events happen soo quickly one after the other that surely. surely the warden could be forgiven for bringing it up to irving? he wouldn't just agree to let this happen to jowan, right? maybe there's been a misunderstanding? maybe they can make a case for him?

Reasons Maeve Amell HATES the Circle for what they did to Jowan, Irving added insult to injury because he couldn’t be bothered to make an effort to protect the vulnerable-only the apprentices he saw as “useful” or “talented” got his protection from the Chantry’s wrath. Proof he could have done something and chose not to.
