It's TOTALLY a great day for hockey. Do yourself a favor Pittsburghers and listen to this song.Â
A lucky look up from the red light at Friendship and Penn today. The window washers at Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh were decked out in superhero garb to cheer up patients as they worked their way down the facade. Hard to have a bad day after seeing this. Check out the video of these super "grime fighters" here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-JS-S5_kOzQ&feature=youtu.be
At the 2012 Pittsburgh Labor Day Parade the Carpenter's Union passed out Smiley Cookies from Eat'n Park. Boom.
The most disappointing sign you'll ever see as a Pittsburgher. Taken at Frankie's hot dog shop in Lawrenceville. I blame it on gentrification.

Totally agree.

Hello, Neighbour! on Flickr.
I can’t wait to see this sign again tomorrow…

Memes needed. Looks like you got one.
Taken by the author in February, 2012 on Saxonburg Blvd; sign outside of Shaler Villa Volunteer Fire Department.
Pretty decent homage -- Pittsburgh style.
Taken by the author on March 2, 2012 on Rt. 8, by the border of Etna/Shaler.
