The Boy Who Walked With Me; Author's Note
The Twilight Series was completely irresistible to me because I once held a huge fascination with vampires, particularly Lestat de Lioncourt from Anne Rice’s Vampire Chronicles, (looking forward to Prince Lestat in October) and because boy meets girl in forest wonderland has always had a certain scenic charm; the movie stills depicting Edward and Bella walking surrounded by beautiful green nature, spider monkey et al, are my favourite mind photographs from the movie.
I can’t remember where the story for The Boy Who Walked With Me came from. There is always inspiration, but I suppose the themes rose up from sheer fantasy. I love nature, I love twilight - there I go again! Being a Twilight fan, convinced me to give Heather and Williams’s story a shot.
‘The Boy Who Walked With Me’ has nothing to do with vampires, actually, it’s simply a story about two young people discovering secrets about themselves, their pasts, and perhaps, a ghost or two, along the way…
