i can’t lie. i completely understand why charlie hated edward so much. he finally gets his daughter back after a decade of not seeing her and she immediately falls in love with some random kid from tho creepy family who lives on the outskirts of town. and after 6 months of their relationship, edward leaves bella stranded in the middle of the forest, a few days after her 18th bday, for dead after breaking up with her, causing bella to become severely depressed. then as soon as he comes back they get engaged and get married a month before she turns nineteen AND THEY HAVE A FREAKING KID. they literally got married after about a year of dating because they were broken up for like 4-5 months in new moon. i’d hate the guy too.
