hanbin angst/fluff
Is it a good time to come over?
You sent the text to Hanbin, hoping he’d reply soon.
Mm, not really. Still practicing. Why?
You frowned slightly as you read his reply. You sighed, your arms dropping to your sides as you eyed the food you made for your boyfriend and the rest of the boys. Plastering a small smile on your face to make yourself feel better, you thought to yourself; I guess I could reheat it and send it tomorrow.
You typed your reply; Nothing, just don’t work yourself too hard, okay? Love you.
An upbeat rhythm flowed through your ears as your ringtone resounded in your living room. Your eyes lit up, Hanbin?
But alas, you snorted when you saw who was calling. “Yah, what do you want?”
“Yah? Is that how you greet your older brother? I did not raise you like this.” Jiwon scolded jokingly.
“Shut up, poo. What do you want?”
“Food.” he said, adding a hint of aegyo just to let you know he was pouting.
You raised your eyebrow, “Now?”
He giggled, “Yes pleeeeeeaseeeee~”
“No.”
“Oh come on, baby sisteeeer~”
“No.”
“I’ll treat you for beef next time, I promise. Pretty please?”
“Deal.” you grinned. “But wait, aren’t you guys practicing?”
“Nope! We ended practice 20 minutes ago. We’re gonna walk balk to the dorm soon but we’ll eat in the practice room, so meet us there? I’ll send two of the boys down to come help you carry the food.”
“Mm, okay. See youuuu.”
“Thanks Y/N-iee.” and you could just imagine his bunny smile.
Ended practice 20 minutes ago, eh?
You furrowed your eyebrows in confusion, but shrugged it off nonetheless, at least I get to see Hanbin.
“Y/N!” Junhoe exclaimed as he saw you approach the building, hurrying to your side to help you carry the bags of food you were carrying.
You rolled your eyes, “Hoe, only nice to me when I bring food.”
He winked, “You know it.” he laughed, before ushering you in. “Come on, I’m hungry.”
“Y/N!”
“Noona!”
“fOOD!”
Shouts of pure happiness rang through your ears as Junhoe bursted into iKON’s practice room, you following closely behind. Jiwon got up and engulfed you into one of his bear hugs. Ruffling your hair, he cooed, “Aigoo, my Y/N-ie, all grown up. Thank youuuu.”
You pushed his hands away, “Yeah, yeah, save it for later. Let’s eat!”
The boys quickly set up the food, before digging in. You couldn’t help but laugh at the boys who were eating like there was no tomorrow.
“Where’s Hanbin?” you asked casually, not wanting to seem eager.
“Ayeeee, if he was the main reason you came you could’ve just said so.” Chanwoo teased, your cheeks dusted pale red as you denied.
Jinhwan chuckled, “He’s in the next room, go call him. He hasn’t eaten either.”
“Ahh, okay.” you nodded, getting up.
“Hanbin?” you asked softly as you peeked through the door.
“Hanbin!” a voice squealed, giggling right after.
“Hanbin, seriously- stop!” she giggled again.
You looked on sadly as Hanbin playfully splattered water on the brunette- a girl you recognised as one of iKON’s back up dancers. A scene you would describe as a cute couple playing around and flirting using a bottle of water.
Hanbin laughed along, wriggling his eyebrows in a way to say; make me.
The girl caught your eyes, clearing her throat before quickly straightening herself out before bowing slightly, “Annyeonghaseyo.” she smiled politely.
Your eyes widened in surprise before bowing back and quickly making your way back to the others.
“Y/N? Are you okay?” Donghyuk asked you gently.
“Yeah, Y/N, you don’t look too good. Did something happen?” Yunhyeong asked in worry.
You smiled, looking for an excuse to leave the building. “A-ah, my friend called in for an emergency. I need to go to her.” you gave them a small laugh.
You noted their worried expressions and assured them, “It’s nothing serious, but I kinda have to go now. Don’t worry and eat up!”
You quickly made your way out, almost reaching the elevator when a wrist grabbed yours to turn you around.
“Donghyuk?”
“Y/N.” he looked breathless, as if he ran after you. He face grew even more worried once he saw the tears brimming in your eyes, “Y/N?”
“Don’t worry about me, Hyuk.” you smiled, gently pushing his hand off. You stepped into the elevator, leaving the building as fast as you could.
Where are you? 11.28 PM
You’re not at home. I’ve been knocking on the door for the past hour. 11.29 PM
Y/N, you’re worrying me. 11.29 PM
Are you okay? 11.30 PM
Donghyuk told me you were crying. 11.34 PM
Donghyuk... told me a possible reason to why you ran off. 11.36 PM
I’m sorry. 11.36 PM
Y/N? 11.49 PM
I know you’re reading these. 11.51 PM
Just let me know that you’re okay. 11.51 PM
You sighed, turning off your phone.
You snuggled deeper into your blanket as you watched the waves crash the shore. You smiled, reminiscing the times Jiwon would bring you to this beach.
“Y/N? Are you sure you don’t want to come in?” Eungyeong, the lady who owned the diner situated by the beach asked.
You nodded slightly, smiling at the kind lady you and Jiwon had grown close to over the years. “Thank you, imo. But I’m heading home soon anyways.”
“Okay, don’t stay out too late now!” she waved, before entering her diner.
You decided to walk a little bit in the sea, wanting to feel the sand beneath your feet and the salt water crash gently against your legs. You just needed time and space to accept some things that were running through your mind.
“Y/N.” a voice you deemed you would never fail to recognise, called out gently. “Can we talk?”
Your breath hitched, and you halted. How did he find me?
I’m not ready for this; you thought to yourself, quickly walking further.
“Stop.” he commanded, though his voice- weak.
“Please stop walking away from me.” he pleaded. “Please.”
You took a deep breath, turning to face Hanbin. “Let’s... break up.”
“W-what? No, Y/N-” he stepped towards you, but you took a step back.
Shocked, he stopped, “...why?”
“I haven’t seen you that happy in such a long time. Heck, Hanbin- I haven’t seen you since you last visited- and that was a month ago!” your voice cracked, and your tears finally fell. “...You’re barely home, Hanbin.” You laughed bitterly, wiping away your tears, “Even Junhoe visits me.”
“I love you, Hanbin. And all I want is for you to be happy. ...I haven’t seen you look at me, the way you looked at her, since-” you paused, “I can’t even remember Hanbin!” you shouted, clearly frustrated. At this point you’re sobbing and Hanbin’s heart can’t help but ache at how broken you sound when you said, “I want you, Hanbin but I don’t make you happy anymore so what am I supposed to do?”
You broke down completely, whimpering over and over again, “What am I supposed to do?”
Hanbin walked to you, gently taking your hand in his, “Don’t be stupid. I’m not leaving you. Do you really think I’m letting you do this? No, I didn’t fall in love with you just to lose you.”
He sighed, placing his hand on the back of your head, letting you bury your head in his chest as you cried in his tight embrace. “...I’m sorry.”
“I’m selfish. I don’t deserve you. I’m probably the worst boyfriend there is out there.” he let out a bitter laugh. “Funny. Do I even deserve to be called a boyfriend?”
“I know I don’t deserve you. I know you have the harder end of the relationship. I’m sorry, Y/N. I’m so so sorry. Y/N, I love you. You make me happy. You are the one I want to spend my golden years with, looking for my missing dentures. My heart made its choice, and it chose you.”
You sniffled, hitting his chest repeatedly, “This is so unfair. Every time I try to be mad at you, you go and say all these sweet things and I can’t help but-”
Hanbin gazed at you lovingly before kissing you, smiling into the kiss. Both of you pulled away, both in a daze. “...Sorry.” he smirked. “By the way, she has a girlfriend.” he whispered in your ear.
You blushed, “W-what?”
He chuckled, kissing your forehead. “I love you, Y/F/N. Only you.”

“Will you marry me?”
By the time he finally asked you the four word question, your hand was over your mouth and you were crying. You nodded, soon engulfed in a hug with your fiancé.
He hugged you tight, letting go didn’t seem like a option.
And you were happy, the both of you were. You didn’t like to admit it verbally, but you love Jinhwan. And he understood. He didn’t need you to tell him that you love him, because the little things you do for him were enough. That made you love him a lot more.
You were happy, and he sadly watched on from afar, with a fake smile plastered on his face, as always.
I shouldn’t have watched on as he introduced himself to you, as he got closer to you, as he asked you to be his girlfriend, as he asked you to marry him. I should’ve kissed you that day when you had that smudge of cake frosting at the corner of your lips. I should’ve meant it when I asked you to marry me. I should’ve told you I love you.
Changkyun turned from the happy couple.
I should’ve, but I didn’t.
He unfastened his chain, staring at it in his palm.
And now it’s too late.
He pulls out his promise ring and drops it onto the ground, walking away.

“Will you please be real engaged to me this time so we can spend the rest of our lives together?”
You laughed, tears of happiness running down you cheek as you nodded. He grinned, picking you up and spinning you around.
He placed you down, kissing your forehead. “What? No ‘Sure, Changkyun’ this time?”
You kissed him gently, pulling away to see a dazed Changkyun. You chuckled, “Sure, Changkyun.”
“SHE SAID SURE CHANGKYUN!” and the crowd erupted in cheers and whistles.
“Ah, not forgetting your ring!” he unfastened the chain around his neck, pulling out his mother’s wedding ring.
Your eyes widened, “Wait, Changkyun-”
“-she would’ve wanted you to have it, I’m sure of it.” he kissed your hand, before sliding it on.
“I love you, so much.” he said, pulling you into a hug.
“And I love you just as much, Lim Changkyun.” you said before burying your head into his chest.
“Let’s go have some wedding cake samples now, shall we?” he smiled cheekily, holding out his hand.
You giggled, “Sure, Changkyun.”
And off you went, going on another wedding cake sample adventure with your fiancé.

Your eyes grew wide in surprise as Changkyun got down on one knee. Your right hand nervously played with the strap of your sling bag as you look at the crowd of people around you. No, the both of you weren’t dating. Yes, you have a cliché crush on your childhood best friend but, you were pretty sure people go into relationships before actually getting married.
“Y/N, will you-”
“Changkyun!” you shouted in a whisper, shocked.
“-please be fake engaged to me for two hours so we can go wedding cake testing?” he grinned, his eyes turning into the crescents that make the butterflies in your stomach go wild.
You scoffed playfully, pushing him as soon as he got up, “What the heck, Changkyun!”
Slinging his arm around your shoulder, he leaned closer to your face, “So how about it?”
You rolled your eyes before answering, “Sure, Changkyun.”
You yelped slightly as he picked you up and spun you around. After placing you gently back on the floor, he shouted to the crowd, “SHE SAID SURE CHANGKYUN!”
And the crowd erupted in cheers, some guys whistling.
You laughed at the situation, thinking to yourself- so why do I like this idiot again?
“Oh, I almost forgot!” he stuffed his right hand into his pocket, before taking out a ring. “Can’t forget the engagement ring.” he winked, before sliding it on your finger.
Your eyes teared up, recognising the ring he slid on. “It’s our-”
“-promise ring. Yeah.” he puts both his hands in his pockets, looking down as he switched his balance from his heel to his toes back and forth.
“You said you-”
“-lost it? No, I just uh... misplaced it.”
“God damn it Changkyun could you let me-”
“-finish your sentences? Nah.” he smiled cheekily, patting your head.
“Why do I even put up with you?” you muttered, making Changkyun laugh.
“Because you love me.”
“Yeah, yeah. Thanks Kyun.” you hugged him, thankful he found the promise ring you thought he lost a month ago. He hugged you back, placing his chin on the top of your head.
You pulled away, “Where’s yours?” you asked, smiling as you eyed the promise ring on your finger.
He smiled, looking at you fondly before holding up the chain he was wearing, revealing his promise ring and his mother’s wedding ring he would always hide under his shirt. “Here, as always.”
“Alright, let’s go wedding cake testing!” he held out his hand. You take it, laughing as he pulled you along excitedly to one of the most memorable adventures you had with Lim Changkyun.
Your eyes grew wide in surprise as your boyfriend of four years got down on one knee. Your right hand nervously played with the strap of your sling bag as you look at the crowd of people around you.
“Y/N, I love you. You know more than anyone that I am afraid of growing old and grey. That I hate doing the laundry and washing the dishes. But I wouldn’t mind all those things, not even a single bit, if I get to spend it with you. I want to spend the rest of my life with you. Y/N, what I want to ask you is-”

Faintly
kihyun angst
It was funny, really. You were up at 1 AM, doing something you hated the most- driving. You never liked it, the anxiety of Murphy’s Law, whatever could go wrong, will go wrong. But there was something about driving around in the wee hours. It was almost... calming.
Just the sleeping city and you, no problems or worries holding you down. This feeling, you liked every bit of it.
Smiling faintly, you placed your free hand out the window, feeling the cool breeze against your fingers.
For the first time in months, you were at peace. You felt free.
You ended up at the edge of a cliff, where you could stargaze and watch the sunrise. You looked around nostalgically, remembering the times you spent with Kihyun here.
14 months.
It was 14 months ago, right here.
“Let’s break up.” he said softly after getting off the hood of his car, avoiding your eyes.
“Kihyun, stop joking around.” you laughed nervously as you wrapped the blanket around yourself a little tighter. You knew he wasn’t joking, he knew you knew that too, by the way tears were brimming in your eyes, the way your lips were trembling.
He lifted your chin, wiping away the tears that managed to escape your eyes gently with his thumb,. “It’s for the best, jagi. Please, please don’t cry.”
“i love you.”
You weren’t dumb, you knew it was his job. You knew it was because of his management, because he couldn’t give you all of his time, because he thought you deserved better.
What you didn’t know, was how dysfunctional he became right after he dropped you off at your house that night. How many times he stared at his phone, dying to press that dial button before he finally had the guts to press ‘delete’. How many notes he tried to hit, only to have his voice break. How many dance moves he’d messed up, even though he practiced them over and over for hours. How he’d lock himself in his room, because he’d break down in tears every time a member tries to talk to him about it. What you didn’t know, was that he was a mess without you. But did he regret breaking it off with you? No, because to him, you deserve better.
“2 AM, I need to head back.” you muttered to yourself, getting off the hood of your car and brushing the dust off your hands.
You yelped as you saw a figure.
“AH” the figure shouted in shock.
There was a moment of silence before you sighed in relief, seeing as the guy didn’t seem like a total threat.
“Sorry, it’s just that you scared me.”
“Sorry, I didn’t notice you either.” he replied sheepishly, rubbing the nape of his neck.
You shook you head, chuckling. “It’s okay.” Nodding your head towards his bike, you asked, “Come here often?”
“Not really, just had a rough day I guess. You?”
“Same.” you answered, and silence ensued.
“The sunset helps. For me at least.”
“Hmm?” the guy hummed in question.
“Watching the sunset makes me feel better. Lets me know that not everything in the world is fucked up.” you laughed, looking at him. “Too deep for you?”
He laughed along, “Not at all.”
“Well, I was just about to head back, nice meeting you, uh...”
“Jimin.” he held out his hand.
You shook it, “Y/N.”
“Wait, stay and watch the sunset with me?” he held onto your hand.
You raised your eyebrow, you were about to speak but he interrupted, flustered as he let go of your hand. “I-It’s okay if you don’t want to, I just...”
You chuckled, “If you need the company, I don’t mind staying.”
He smiled brightly, “Thank you.”
And so, you spent the next few hours watching the sunset and getting to know Jimin, laughing and joking around.
You had turned on your car’s radio to fill any awkward silences, and if you weren’t so engrossed in sharing lame pick up lines with Jimin, you wouldn’t have missed the familiar voices singing faintly in the background.
You probably erased me now You won’t be hung up on the past But in my memories It’s still only your face that whispered to me
Inside your memories I’m just someone who’s not there A face you’ve never seen
I can’t do this anymore If only I could erase you, if only I could forget you
I don’t need any sweet love songs It’s broken heart I don’t have a song to make you stay Now leave, go far away You standing next to me, the sound of your laughter, all of it I don’t need it, I don’t need any of it Take all that is yours, that isn’t mine, and leave right away
A yo girl, my heart feels suffocated and dark Girl, it’s so hard, this feeling of love It’s 2 AM right now, my emotions are exploding All the songs I wrote as I thought of you are groundless now
I won’t have it ever again The precious times to be in love with you But you’re in my memories As I’m holding on, not able to forget a single moment
You used to whisper to me But you keep getting farther away I can’t get closer to you anymore
I have to erase you now, though I don’t want to acknowledge I don’t think I’ve forgotten you yet
I don’t need any sweet love songs It’s broken heart I don’t have a song to make you stay Now leave, go far away You standing next to me, the sound of your laughter, all of it I don’t need it, I don’t need any of it Take all that is yours, that isn’t mine, and leave right away
I can still smell the scent of the memories at the tip of my nose I can hear the sound of love in my ears You keep flickering before my eyes But now I’ll wrap it all up, bury it all down If only I could turn back time to when it used to be “us” I’d go to you.
“So, did all of you take part in the composition of this song?” the radio host asked the group.
“I.M and I took part in writing the lyrics, along with some help from the other members.” Jooheon answered cheerfully, glancing at Kihyun.
“Ah, impressive indeed! And speaking about impressive, all of you sang and rapped very well but I can’t help noticing Kihyun’s vocals, you sang with so much emotion, even the listeners felt touched!”
Kihyun thanked him humbly, “Thank you, I try my best.”
“You did well, Kihyun-ssi!”
Soon after the radio station recording was over and Kihyun excused himself to the washroom.

Time pt. 2
[Rated M for language] bobby angst/fluff
Time pt. 1
“Ready to go?” Junhoe asked impatiently.
“hoLD UP HOE I’M COMING” you huffed, carrying the last of your stuff out of your apartment.
After putting the box into the back of the van, you closed the door, comfortably sitting yourself onto the front seat. You rolled your eyes, “I swear it’s like you’re more excited than me.”
He snorted, starting the ignition. “Obviously, why would you be excited to go to Seoul?”
“Gee, I don’t know other than the fact that I got pROMOTED??” you asked sarcastically, looking outside as Junhoe drove past your now old neighbourhood.
With a hand on the steering wheel, he looked at you knowingly, his voice turned serious. “Seriously though. Are you okay? With coming back?”
It doesn’t take a genius to know what Junhoe was talking about. You sighed, knowing that the bad feeling in your stomach was coming from exactly that. “I’m not anticipating it, but I’ll get over it. Honestly, I don’t even know why I left. I was just overreacting.”
Junhoe smiled, bringing his sassy ego back to lighten up the mood. “Yeah, you were totally being a drama queen.”
“Shut up hoe.”
“But hey, I found you something that might make you excited to be back.”
“Hmm?” You hummed in question, looking out the car window.
“There’s a great dance studio down your block. 5 minute walk tops.” he grinned.
Your head snapped to face the platinum blonde. “nO WAY. ARE YOU SERIOUS?”
“No, I’m Junhoe.” he joked.
You leaned onto his free arm, hugging it. “Thank you Junhoe.”
“eW get off me”
You stuck out your tongue at him before letting it go. Continuing to look outside the car window, you smiled as your thoughts lingered to the dance studio.
Junhoe smiled as he looked at you, muttering softly, “That’s what best friends are for.”
2 weeks later
You’ve settled in well, constantly going for classes at the dance studio when you had free time.
“Y/N! Back again?” the friendly desk manager, Letty greeted you.
You laughed, “Hey Letty. Yup, joining Jay and Jiyoung’s class today.”
“Have fun, I’ll see you around!” she smiled warmly.
“See you!” you waved before entering the studio.
You saw Eunho, a choreographer you had gotten to know ever since you first started coming. He was friendly, both of you almost instantly clicked when you first met. “Eunho, hey!”
He smiled as he waved you over. “Hey Y/N.”
“Any hints on today’s dance?” you asked cheekily.
He laughed, “Only that it’s a partner dance.”
You nodded, “Not surprised.”
Jay and Jiyoung decided that they would teach the dance to the boys and girls separately, before deciding on the pairs. You frowned at Eunho, who ruffled your hair. “It’s okay, we can dance together later.”
After about an hour, everyone learnt the dance and it was time to decide on the pairs.
“Okay, girls on the left, boys on the right!” Jay instructed. Jay grinned as the numbers tallied up. “Now turn to the person beside you.”
You turned, smile fading as you definitely did not expect to see the person you saw.
Jiwon?
“Great, the person beside you will be your partner for today.”
Fuck.
“Don’t forget to make the ending your own style everybody!” Jiyoung reminded the pairs who were scurrying off to practice.
Jiwon cleared his throat, “Uh hey.”
You stuck out our hand, “Hi, I’m Y/N. You?”
Jiwon’s eyes widened. “... Bobby, but call me Jiwon.”
You nodded, but ended up calling him Bobby for the whole 30 minutes.
“wHY am I bEIng sO cHILD IS h” you groaned internally.
Practice went pretty well, you and Jiwon overcoming most of the awkwardness.
“Oh my god, that’s a great idea!!” you exclaimed about his idea for the ending. You gave him a high five before hugging him, forgetting for a split second about what happened.
You let go abruptly, coughing awkwardly. “Sorry.”
Jiwon looked at you, silence ensued for minute before he spoke, “Look, Y/N-”
“Time’s up!” Jay shouted.
Just go with the flow.
You breathed in, thinking about what Jiwon said about the ending of the dance- which, the both of you never got to practice.
“Ready?” Jiyoung chirped, pressing the play button as soon as you and Jiwon nodded.
The soft melody soon filled your ears, your body moving own its own, trying to tell a story. Jiwon and you moved in sync as one earning a few whistles and cheers. Jiwon always loved seeing you dance. You always got so into the music, blocking out the rest of the world. There was always this look in your eyes when you danced. The kind of look he would have when he was looking at you.
The music was coming to an end, and like what Jiwon said, you went with the flow. Supposedly, you were supposed to fall after being carried by Jiwon, the dance would end with you on the ground and him walking away but when it was your cue to fall, he wouldn’t let you. Instead, he set your legs down on the floor gently, an arm around your waist and another behind your head as he held you tight, your foreheads pressed together in heavy breaths. Cheers erupted, the rest of the studio clapping.
“J-Jiwon.”
“I’m not letting go of you again.” he muttered softly, it would’ve been drowned out by the sound of clapping if you weren’t listening so intently.
Both of you let go, thanking and bowing as Jay and Jiyoung complimented the both of you. “That’s some amazing chemistry you both got there.”
You scanned the crowd of dancers before finding Eunho, wanting to get away from Jiwon as soon as possible. “Eunho!”
“Y/N! That was amazing!” he gave you a hug.
You laughed, hugging him back. “You weren’t too bad yourself.”
Your thoughts lingered to Jiwon, and you decided you couldn’t stay any longer. “I’m leaving soon, see you around Eunho!”
He smiled and nodded, “Okay, good job today, Y/N! See you.”
You thanked Jay and Jiyoung before quickly making your way outside. You felt a presence chasing behind you, and you could tell it was Jiwon.
You were about to make a run for it, but he grabbed your wrist. You turned around, slightly glaring at him. “What?”
“How long are you gonna keep running away?” he asked, hurt.
You took a breath, gently shrugging his hand off your wrist. “Jiwon,”
“For the past three years, I’ve been trying to put the pieces together. Thinking about, what would’ve- what could’ve, happened if you never found out. I was just starting to leave the pieces on the floor. I was just starting to walk away from the pieces I spent so much time on. You can’t just come back and pull me in again. I just don’t want to get hurt. I think it’s best for the both of us, if we don’t see each other anymore.”
“Stop being selfish, Y/N. Have you ever thought how I would feel?” Jiwon asked, exasperated.
“If it’s pity you’re feeling, get rid of it. I don’t need your pity. I’ll be fine.” you responded bitterly, walking away. He didn’t chase after you. And your heart broke again.
“I can’t get rid of love, Y/N.” he called out.
The phrase did not only make you stop walking, it stopped your heart too.
“You out of all people should know that.” he continued weakly.
He turned you around to face him. You suddenly took a deep interest in your shoes, refusing to look at Jiwon.
“Look at me Y/N. Please.”
Hesitantly, you lifted your head up, meeting his sincere brown eyes.
“I’m sorry.”
“Y/N, if I thought failing to be an idol was bad, those three years without you was worse. I don’t know how I survived those three years, but now that I’m with you again, I don’t think I’ll survive another day without you.”
“I’m sorry I didn’t see it sooner. I’m sorry I didn’t see how much you cared. I’m sorry I didn’t see the little things you did for me. I’m s-”
You stifled a laugh, “Sorry. Yeah, I heard.”
You wiped away his tears, “Okay, Jiwon. Let’s start over.”
He looked at you in shock, before pulling you into a hug. Placing a kiss on the crown of your head, he mumbled, “Thank you.”
A/N: THAT WAS SO BAD I’M SO SORRY. Hope y’all enjoyed it though ahaha
Oh! The dance in this fic was inspired by Jay and Jiyoung’s Hotline Bling Choreography! It’s beautiful ;-;

“God, I wish I never met you.”
The tears you tried so hard to hold in was now streaming down your cheeks. You quickly wiped them away with your sleeves, not wanting to look weak. Hanbin’s face softens, guilt filling him up as he realised what he just said. He reached for your hands, but you pulled away, “Don’t.”
“I’m sorry.” you said, your voice a mixture of sadness and anger.
He gulped, his heart breaking, hearing you mutter that two word sentence as you put up a strong front.
I’m not supposed to make her cry. I’m not supposed to make her break. I promised.
“I’m sorry I was a part of your life. But how about this, B.I? I’ll leave, I’ll disappear. And I promise, it’ll be as if you never met me.” a lone tear fell from your eye.
I’m supposed to be the one to wipe away those tears, not cause them.
Although Hanbin kept telling himself, his train of thoughts and body just weren’t working together. His feet still grounded to the floor, head down as you walked swiftly past him.
Run after her! Chase her, goddamnit!
And for the first time in this whole week, Hanbin listened to the tiny voice inside his head. Grabbing his coat, he ran out of the practice room, frantically looking for you. Without thinking too much about it, he went to the first place he thought of.
There you were. Knees pulled up to your chest, your head buried in your arms, sobbing with your body against the vandalised wall. A dented black spray paint can lying pathetically in front of you. Hanbin couldn’t help but feel hurt, mad at himself for causing you to cry. For hurting you. If it was possible, his heart broke a little bit more at the sight of his promise, crossed out by a freshly painted black line. But no amount of heartbreak could beat the one Hanbin felt, seeing your promise, a tiny black line clearly hesitant, crossing over but stopping before going any further.
I, Kim Hanbin promise to never hurt or make Y/N cry.
I, Y/N promise to stay by Kim Hanbin’s side.
Hanbin placed his coat over you. He sat next to you, pulling you closer as he placed his hand behind your head, gently guiding your head into his chest. You tried to push him away, but the fight had taken its toll on you, your energy was drained out. After a while, you stopped crying, and backed away from Hanbin.
“I-I’m sorry, I’ll just-” you tried to stand up, but he grabbed your wrist. “Wait.”
“Look at me Y/N.” he asked softly, his voice trembling. You closed your eyes, not ready to face him. You felt his finger on your chin, slowly turning your head to face him.
“Please.” he said, his voice barely a whisper. You slowly opened your eyes, meeting Hanbin’s two red eyes, swollen from crying.
“I know this isn’t enough to make up for what I did, but- I’m so sorry Y/N.”
“I know those three words won’t make everything to what it was before, but I’m more than willing to try to make things right again. Please give me a chance to make us right again.”
“i can’t promise you we won’t fight again. I can’t promise you that I won’t make you cry again. But I can promise you, I will never stop trying. Never.”
“I can’t do this without you, Y/N.”
“You know I’m not good with words, but I hope you know how much I mean it when I say that-” he paused, taking in a breath and looking right at you in the eye.
“I love you, Y/N.”
“What do you think about the phrase, ‘I love you’?” you asked Hanbin as you adjusted your cap, sitting cross legged across him. The both of you were just done with dance practice, taking a break before leaving.
He thought about it for a while, before he spoke, “If a man says ‘I love you’, he should keep his words for a lifetime. But when you break up, it all becomes a contradiction. So how about this, I will say I love you, when I know I can and will take care of you for the rest of my life.”
You raised your eyebrows, nodding, looking impressed. “Wow, Kim Hanbin.”
“But I think I heard Kim Jongkook said on a show before.” you tilted your head, unsure.
“Yah yah, let’s get going”
You couldn’t help but smile at the memories going through your head.
You hesitated, but softly, you spoke. “I couldn’t do it.”
“I couldn’t break my promise, Hanbin.”
“Because I can’t do this without you either.”
The moment those seven words were uttered, Hanbin couldn’t take it anymore. He pulled you close, hugging you tightly. As if he’d lose you forever if he let you go. “I’m not losing you again.”

Time pt. 1
bobby angst ft. sassy junhoe
“I’m sorry.”
You bit your lip and gave him a small smile, willing your tears to stay as you shook your head slightly, avoiding any eye contact with him. “What are you sorry for?”
He hung his head, “I know, Y/N.”
You paused, uncertain. “Know... what?”
“I-” he cleared his throat, “I like someone else, Y/N. I’m sorry.”
You swallowed, turning around. Your hands balled in fists in attempt to stop your tears from falling. “It’s okay. It’s not your fault. We can’t change how we feel. I’m a big girl, I’ll get over it.” you wiped your tears, walking away.
“Y-Y/N...” he grabbed your wrist, stopping you. You closed your eyes, sighing, “Just let me go.”
His grip on you loosened, shocked from how the name Bobby just left your lips. Five years of friendship, and not once have you called him Bobby. It was always Jiwon, or some other nickname you decided to call him.
You shook his hand off, before walking away.
“Are you just going to throw five years of friendship down the drain?” he asked loudly, obviously trying to suppress his anger.
You slowed down, but you continued walking. “I-... I just need time.”
“Is this it?” he asked weakly. You stopped in your tracks, no amount of words could explain how hurt he sounded, just the sound of his voice wrenched your heart.
I’m sorry Jiwon, it’s just too hard.
“Y/N, I love you.” he cried, his sincerity pouring through.
Please don’t make this harder for me.
“I love you too, Jiwon. But it’s just not the same.” you cried, running away as fast as you could. Where were you headed to? You had no idea, as long as it’s away from him.
3 YEARS LATER
“ohmygOD Y/N. ISN’T 3 YEARS ENOUGH TIME??” Junhoe questioned over the phone.
You stifled a laugh, “Junhoe, I just-”
“Need some time, yeah, i hEARD.” and you could imagine him rolling his eyes.
“Can’t you at least come and visit mE? I mean, like- I AM YOUR ONLY FRIEND YOU LOSER” he whined.
You snorted, “Fine, I’ll take a train to Seoul tomorrow okay? We can go to the music store. I swear, the amount of albums they sell in the biggest music store here is at most 1/10 of that small ass music store we always go to.”
“And this is exACTL y why you should come back to Seoul.”
“We’ve talked about this, Junhoe. I’m nOT-”
You were interrupted by a beep from your laptop. “Hold up hoe, I got mail.”
A minute of silence and you exclaimed,“ohmygod. OHMYGOD GOO JUNHOE.”
“wHAT”
“I got promoted! I got fUCKING PROMOTED BITCH”
“Wow, I wonder how you got that promotion. Are you sure your boss isn’t blind?”
Junhoe was awaiting a snarky reply but alas, he never got it.
“...Y/N?”
“Its... in Seoul.”
“what”
“This promotion... I have to move back to Seoul.”
shattering
“no matter how much i try, everything around me is shattering into pieces and it’s all because of me.” she burst, the tears she tried so hard to keep in, now streaming down her cheeks.
“i just want to run away. maybe it would be easier for everyone if i just disappeared.” she whispered.
“i’ve never felt so weak before.”
he got up, walked over to her, and hugged her. he placed his hand behind her head, letting her head lean into his chest. the gesture made her break, now she’s sobbing, and the tears can’t seem to stop.
“it’s okay to feel weak.” he spoke, as a tear fell from his eye.
“you’re not human if you’re strong all the time.”
“i’ll be honest, i can’t say that i understand how you feel. but i promise you, it will all pass, and we can ride it out together. when this is all over, i’ll still be here. and so will you. you’re important to me, and i care about you. i’m sorry you’re in so much pain. i’m going to take care of myself. so you don’t have to worry that your pain might hurt me.”
“i love you. and i’m not going to leave you.”

junhoe fluff // drabble
you grunted as you made your way to your seat, laying your head on top of your table.
you felt something light- probably a crumpled piece of paper -hit your head. you ignored it, knowing it was your best friend.
“woah there, what’s up with you?” a familiar voice said in amusement.
you grunt in response.
“ah, that time of the month?” he snickered.
“sHUT UP JUNHOE” you whined, clearly annoyed, head still buried in your arms.
and that, was how your day of grumbling about your cramps to junhoe started. after what felt like years, school ended and you met junhoe at the school gate.
“hey, is it okay if you walk home with just y/f/n today? i need to get something done.” he asked you as soon as you guys met.
“you do realise that even if i said no, you would probably still make me?”
his lips curved up into a cheeky smile, “great, so that’s settled! see you tomorrow y/n.”
you rolled your eyes and laughed slightly, shaking your head as you started walking home.

pringles

hanbin sighed, putting on his hood as he walked to the nearest convenience store. he checked the time on his phone, yawning moments after. it was 4 am, he was supposed to be back at the dorm but his latest track wasn’t going as well as he hoped it would. his conclusion- eat away his stress. he was craving for a certain something- his favourite snack, sour cream pringles.
he walked into the convenience store, looking for the pringles as he picked up other snacks on the way. soon he spotted the can of pringles he craved so much for, happily reaching out to get it with a big grin on his face.
his happiness was short lived though, a small hand grabbed the can, both their hands overlapping. confused, he turned towards the person to see a petite girl with long wavy hair wearing a baby blue sweater with plain black pajama shorts.
“ah, sorry.” hanbin pulled his hand back, flustered.
“oh, no, it’s alright. do you want it?” the girl held the can out to him as she smiled.
hanbin blushed, “um, no it’s okay!! i’ll just get another.. can..” his voice fell as he noticed there were no more sour cream pringles on the shelf.
“oh.. okay then, thank you!” she smiled shyly, bowing a little before heading towards the cashier.
hanbin smiled weakly, looking at the other snacks in his hands.
i guess this will have to do.
after paying, hanbin walked out of the store dejected.
“hey! um” he heard a voice call out.
hanbin turned towards the voice, finding the girl who bought the can of pringles standing behind him.
“sorry, it’s just that.. you looked pretty down. so I thought maybe this.. would cheer you up?” she held out the can of pringles to hanbin shyly, her other hand holding on to a plastic bag and the hem of her sweater.
“here, take it. i wasn’t really that hungry anyway.” she said as she handed it to him.
hanbin smiled at her cute gesture, “thank you, ..?”
“...jooyeon.” she offered him a small smile.
hanbin held his hand out, “hanbin.”
they shook hands, “so jooyeon, wanna share some pringles with me?”
hearing his sudden suggestion, jooyeon couldn’t help but break into a grin. laughing softly, she nodded. “sure, i’d like that.”
3 years later
hanbin raised his eyebrow as another hand grabbed the can of pringles he was taking, their hands overlapping. taking his surprise to her advantage, jooyeon quickly took the can before running off.
“jooyeon!!” hanbin ran after her.
poking her head out from behind an aisle, she laughed and stuck her tongue out. “merong~”
“yAH. come back here! kang jooyeon!”
hanbin creeped quietly around the store, finding jooyeon with her back against him in the candy aisle. as he wrapped his arms around her waist, he whispered, “got you.”
“now give me back my pringles.... or suffer the consequences.”
“arasso aRASSO JUST LET ME GO”
hanbin smiled in triumph as she gave him the can of pringles. grabbing her hand, he smiled goofily as he moved his head from side to side, he asked
“so jooyeon, wanna share some pringles with me?”
