I am relistening to The Infinite Noise again, and I am just at the point where "Aunt Annabelle" comes for breakfast. It had me wondering how you handled the dichotomy between people who have listened to the Bright Sessions and people who haven't. After all, those are to vastly different knowledge points about the characters. I would love to hear how you approached that, both from a "I don't just want to rehash everything TBS already covered" and a "how much information do I have to give for this to make sense" standpoint.

Thank you so much and also I love the world you created so much and it is a pleasure to be able to return to it again and again.

this was a huge part of writing The Infinite Noise and something I never could have done without my editor, Ali Fisher. She really helped me navigate those waters and, ultimately, it was just about what served the story best. so, if there was some rehashing of an episode of the podcast, but we needed it for the story, then that was just an opportunity for me to go deeper and more interior on that scene! if there was an easter egg that wouldn't really add to the story by expanding it, then we just let it live as something only die-hard fans would get.

I wish I could remember more specific details, but it's been almost 10 years since I wrote that book! I'm so glad that it's something you want to return to over and over <3
