Neddy (whos full name is edmund) is a very naturally antisocial individual, this is mostly do to his upbringing.
His mother is a mortician, specifically an embalmer who owns a mortuary, and his father left at a young age due to him not wanting to be with his mother.
This, along with being short (3'6) and on the chubbier side led to him not having too many friends in school.
Eventually he would find his crowd of people, a rather large bunny named mommas, a fisherman cat named henry, and a few more, but he never became particularly social.
Most of these people he met in college. As a child neddy took after his mother and became very interested in mortuary work, however he took a great liking to taxidermy and scrimshaw.
His mother helped fund his interests by sending him to college, where he quickly found a few friends, earned an art degree, and also a minor in music, playing the trumpet.
He joined a band at a local nightclub during his early 20s playing jazz hits, but eventually fell somewhat out of it as he had some mental trouble, namely with BIID, which led to him purposefully removing his own leg by putting it on a train track.
After about 2 months in a psych ward he was released and much happier, where he started his own scrimshaw and taxidermy business, and has seen moderate success.
Along with scrimshaw and taxidermy neddy is a very big fan of magic the gathering, since it was introduced to him in highschool, and during his time in his colleges art program developed a great appreciation for music and movies, becoming quite the audiophile and cinephile.
Besides that, some other interesting details are that his purple eye is actually a prosthetic, lost during the same mental incident that led to his right leg being amputated below the knee. Hes also a vegetarian, though its almost exclusively just for health reasons.
He lives in a very nice rv thats been modified to be self sufficient, and lives in the woods. He does have a car, a yellow vw beetle modified so he can drive it with his height :3
