The irony of this new breed of self-righteous AI hunters on AO3 is that they're all just copy and pasting peoples fics into AI detectors, which are all operated by AI and therefore THEY are feeding people's work into the algorithm without their consent and in some cases no doubt circumventing the locks people put on to avoid getting scraped...
Don't copy and paste anyone's AO3 work into third party websites, you're not the good guys in this situation?

I diverged slightly from the prompt, placing the fic in a post-canon, canon compliant setting, but I hope you enjoy!
I highly recommend listening to Untitled #3 - Samskeyti by Sigur Rós while you read as that was my biggest inspiration for the fic.

A Love So Carefully Wrought - Chapter 5
Chapter 5 is out! Yay!! 2am fic update! Don’t need sleep when I’m running on an update high.
Thank you all so much for your patience with the update! The last month has been a lot to say the least, and I ended up scraping the draft for this chapter and rewriting it completely. Good news though— the next chapter is already complete and to compensate for the shorter length I have it scheduled for next week!

TLDR fic progress!
Yay I just finished my JLPT exam! This last month has been a lot though and burnout between work, studying, and some sad family stuff hit me like a train before I realized it. I was planning on having the chapter uploaded on Sunday but I’ve been taking some extra time to rest & have some quality time with my partner, which I really needed ;-;
I ended up scrapping a large part of chapter 5 because I wasn’t fully happy with it so I’m in the process of rewriting it now! Going forward I’m aiming for an update bi weekly or every 3 weeks
Big arc coming soon though!

I hate that when you’re stressed enough your body just starts falling apart. I think it should realize you’re already stressed and don’t need that and start functioning better actually
