Not many words can describe the emotions I felt visiting this place. Part of me wasn't ready to face this reality but it has been long enough. I felt uplifted and able to release all the pain that initially bonded my spirit to stay down but now I have a true awakening. It's never easy to say goodbye to a loved one ever. Your heart can only take as much as you burden. I was able to open myself to have this become an important moment in my life. I'm able to face my fears and accept it for what it is. I still miss my granny dearly as I embark on finding my place in this world to uphold the family legacy.
