Role Play Lingo For New Beginners! (This covers Discord text based rp specifically since I don’t really rp anywhere else.)

RP: The abbreviation for “role play”.

CRP: Short for “combat role play”. Combat role play covers any sort of physical fight roleplays/scenes that you may do- whether they be with or without dice.

AFK: “Away from keyboard”- it means that the other person either stepped away or isn’t online.

Mun/Admin: Mun, character admin, or sometimes even simply “admin” can refer to the rper who is controlling a certain character. (Ex: Ash’s mun is AFK.)

PTK: “Permission to kill”. This can sometimes be found in the rules channel. If a server states that it’s “PTK”- this means that you have to ask permission to kill someone’s character.

PTH: “Permission to harm”- similar to PTK, this means that you need permission to harm other characters.

RTK: “Reason to kill”. (Take PTK and change “permission” to “reason”.) When seen in a server, this means that you can kill off other characters without their owner’s permission IF you have a good/realistic reason. (RTK does not give you permission to kill off other characters just because you want to or to go on a power trip.)

RTH: “Reason go harm.” The RTK of PTH.

Timeline/Fluid RP: “Timeline rp”, “fluid rp”, and sometimes even “liquid rp” refer to when you are in multiple scenes with the same character, but the scenes take place at different times.

I made an Iron Age Toothless cosplay, and this is how it turned out!

For this costume I made everything except for the shoes, belt, turtle broaches, and wig. (Though I did do a little bit of styling to the wig and I painted and strung the beads from the broaches.) There are scales painted on the tail and underdress that you can’t see in this picture- overall I used 3 bottles of black slick paint for all of the scales on this costume. I even drafted some of my own patterns for this, but the underdress and apron dress are made using two patterns from Rabbit & Hat Patterns.

Went geocaching with my brother today! Found this micro cache and logged our initials.

This is the second cache I’ve found, and I can’t wait to start geocaching more often.

Simone Rocha is an Irish designer- some of her designs are depicted above. Her use of texture, and the silhouettes she creates with her garments are eye catching, and I love the overall aesthetic of the work she produces.

When I first started getting into fashion- this designer was the first one whose work I enjoyed consistently.

She has an amazing sense of balance when it comes to fashion and not “overdoing” things in one garment, and I greatly admire her skill and creativity.

Every time I wash potatoes at my grandparents house, my nana points out that I stick my tongue out when I wash potatoes.

I went to my first trinket trade at a renaissance faire and I now realize why dragons are hoarders.

2 “Controversial” Twilight Opinions/Hot Takes

Let me start by saying that idk if these are ACTUALLY hot takes or controversial since I’m not really active in the fandom… but yeah. If I need to elaborate- I can.

1) Bella was a horrible mother- actually, a lot of the mothers in the series weren’t good parents (Esme is obviously meant to be seen as a good mother by the audience, but I don’t think she is). I feel like Rosalie could have been the best motherly figure in the series- Bella seemed to want Renesemee just because she was “perfect” and a piece of Edward, but even Rosalie made excuses for Renesmee’s bad behavior.

2) Movie Charlie is a better parent than book Charlie.
