Finally posting here again, so I thought I'd update my intro + DNI!

I'm Neonovica (pronounced Neo-nove-ica), but you can call me Alistair! I'm a 18-year-old self-taught artist who specializes in OC art - I have over 300 OCs each with their own detailed story and lore, so that's what I'll mostly be posting about here!

I'm nonbinary, and I use any pronouns, including neopronouns, with no preference!

I've been drawing digitally for around 5 years now, though I've been writing and making OCs for over 7 years

I post quite a bit on my Youtube and Tiktok with videos of my OCs

I also post all my OC art and a lot of lore on my Toyhou.se

Void Wisps: Starla

"I've got my eye on you." /lyr

Starla, or Star, is the yellow void wisp of creativity. They're by far the most emotional and energetic of the wisps, and one of the three wisps that are unfortunately deceased, though they did not die in the same way as the other two.

As I said on Vesteria's page, Starla and Vesteria were partners. First just simply work partners, then.. Well, more than that.

A curse started. A curse that killed off two other void wisps. And that made Starla begin to think. Maybe the void wisps' time was over. Maybe it was time for something new.

So they designed a new species, created by giving power to some foxes in Requira and giving them a test to see if it would work. These, of course, are the Starchildren, which I've talked about before.

But there was one issue. If they were to give the Starchildren the full power they needed after the tests were passed, they would pass away. They didn't tell Vesteria about it, but it found out anyway, and the two got into a massive argument before Starla went through with it. They died. Leaving Vesteria all alone.

Void Wisps: Vesteria

"I don't think I could stand to be where you don't see me." /lyr

Vesteria, or Vee, is the purple void wisp of logic. It is one of the three "leaders" of the void wisps, alongside Null and Chrono. Vesteria doesn't particularly like talking to most of the other wisps, besides Erebus and Chrono, which are its two friends... Well, besides Starla.

Starla. The wisp that Vesteria was forced to meet by Chrono's recommendation to improve both it and their productivity. Vesteria originally despised Starla due to their hyperactivity and their positivity. But then it began to like them, much to its annoyance. It realized how well the two of them worked together with universal and species creation. The two created countless things, including the Requira Dimension, the home universe of Astrins.

But not all stories have a happy ending, and not every relationship ends well.

The Void Wisps

Thought I should give some more lore, so meet the original creators of everything in my multiverse: The Void Wisps!

Though they can take any form, they all have a true form: their wisp form. They were born into... Well, the void, alone in a black emptiness. They each specialize in a certain subject, and each has another wisp they're bonded to, sort of like a human relationship.

They decided to create universes, species, worlds, etc, basically everything that exists. They are all agender, but they can use gendered pronouns on wisps they're very close to as a sign of closeness.

But eventually, a curse began to form, killing off Eden and Kuiper, leaving the others to question what could have created something like that... Could it have been one of their own..? :)

(I'll be making individual posts for each of these guys over the next week or two.)

Taking a break from Starchildren to talk about another storyline, one that's been sitting in my head for a while that I only yesterday got around to making designs for.

It's called Sorcerers of Cato, Cato being the God of Intelligence who created the Sorcerers to help revive life on a radiation-filled planet, and it follows the story of Nyx, a Sorcerer of Cato who was raised outside of the main protected city of the Resurgence. She's one of the two sorcerers left, along with her aunt Lilith, who I'll explain next post.

Nyx uses they/she pronouns, and is around 15-17 years old. She mutated due to the radiation like most of the people outside of the Resurgence, growing wings and feathered ears. They were eventually captured by the Resurgence after trying to rescue one of her friends, where she met her aunt. The rest I'll keep quiet for now :]

Someone said Basil reminded them of this song, and honestly it does completely, so here's some art - I love making lyric-based art it's so much fun

Speaking of Basil... She's someone I haven't talked about yet.. So...

Basil is Briar's sister, they were part of the same litter. She, unlike Briar, isn't a Starchild and instead is something called a Cursed One, which were foxes cursed by the moon to try and throw off the magical imbalance that the Starchildren were sent to correct even further.

However, she was unaware of the fact she was a Cursed One, and grew up basically ignored while her sister was worshipped, and a voice in her head told her that her sister never cared. That all Briar cared about was power.

So when Briar left and took Lyra with her instead of Basil, she grew enraged, and tracked down her sister, who she half-blinded before being killed by Briar.

...But she's the Immortal Cursed One.

This is Briar, the main character of this storyline, which is called Starchildren. She's the Starchild of Fire, and the sister of Basil. She's the childhood friend of Lyra, and the one who agreed to let Lyra travel with her to find the other Starchildren under the impression that Lyra wasn't a Starchild herself, just an ordinary fox.

You can imagine how hurt she was when she discovered her best friend had nothing but malicious intentions when journeying with her.

This is the OC in the drawing by the way, her name is Lyra. She's one of the main characters of this old story I'm revamping called Starchildren, and she's totally not evil

She's the Starchild of the Mind but the rest of the Starchildren don't know, she uses her blessing to try and manipulate the Cursed Ones into killing the other Starchildren while pretending to be powerless and on the side of the Starchildren
