Galactian System (Expanded!)
I couldn’t get in contact with the original person who coined the Galactian System (and also can’t tag them for some reason?) and some of the terms were a little confusing (sollunarian = novarian, but both terms exist?) while others were missing (no demi-solstellarian, for example).
The original chart only covered the firstly coined types. (Singularian was not coined by the same person who coined the rest.)
(( This chart’s wrong as hell, btw. Solarian + Stellarian is Eclipsian, Solarian + Lunarian is Novarian. ))
Unfortunately this chart doesn’t account for demi-alignments with those in the center trifecta. Or even a fluid alignment.
So I made some!
Dawnian, Duskian, and Celestian (with new flags to match the rest of them)
Singularian (with a new flag to match the rest), Twilightian, and Equinian
Solstician, Constellian, and Aurorian!
(( Sorry @nonbinarywiki, I was working on this when you asked me for permission to use my chart, I know I whipped this out so quick after your post, I forgot to warn you!))
So what are these new alignments? Let me introduce the first three and the demi- definitions so you can get an idea.
Solarian: In many cultures and religious systems, the sun is associated with masculinity, and male energy. As a result, a Solar Nonbinary Person, or Solarian, would be someone who has similarities in identity or experience with men. The term functions as a less easily abused form of “male aligned.”
Lunarian: In equally many cultures, where the sun is man, the moon is woman and feminine energy. As a result, a Lunar Nonbinary Person, or Lunarian, would be someone who has similarities in identity or experience with women. It functions as a less easily abused term for “female aligned".
Stellarian: With as many possible identities and presentations as there are stars in the sky, a Stellar Nonbinary Person, or Stellarian, would be someone who does not experience strong alignment with either binary gender, or who rejects such alignment.
Demi-Alignments, like duskian, have a partial connection to their alignment. Example: Duskians have only a partial connection to lunarian, with the other part being something else. So they’re sorta like demigender versions of the main three, since it’s a partial connection to one of the alignments, instead of being both stellarian and one of the other two.
So if you are both male- and female-aligned, you’d use Novarian. However, if you only partially feel female-aligned, and the other part is ambiguous/undefined, you’d consider yourself Duskian.
**Keep in mind, the ‘other part’ IS NOT part of Singularian. Singularian is rejecting the binary completely, in fact reducing gender alignment to zero/a single point. It’s not agender, or gender neutral, or gendervoid - it’s the absence of the gender alignment completely.**
Here’s each flag and what they mean!
Demi-sollunarian, or Twilightian! (Optional: Twilian)
Twilightian is to identify partially with male-aligned, partially identify with female-aligned, and partially identify with something else.
Demi-stellunarian, or Equinoxian! (Optional: Equinian)
Equinoxian is to identify partially with female-aligned, partially identify with non-binary alignment, and partially identify with something else.
Demi-solstellarian, or Solstian! (Optional: Solstacian)
Solstian is to identify partially with male-aligned, partially identify with non-binary alignment, and partially identify with something else.
Demi-solstellunarian, or Constellian! (Optional: Constellatien, intentionally misspelled)
Constellian is to identify partially with male-aligned, female-aligned, non-binary alignment, and partially something else.
Fluidity between alignments, also known as Aurorian!
Aurorian is to identify as one alignment, that changes (fluidly or suddenly) to another alignment. What these alignments are doesn’t matter, but you can list them as well!
So now the chart should look like this!
**NOTE: While I do coin these terms, you DO NOT have to use them. If you prefer stellunarian, that’s okay. If you don’t want to use the new singularian flag, you DO NOT have to. These are in place for optional use, and are in no way meant to REPLACE anything from the original creator’s creation.**
More info (and the new dawnian/duskian/singularian/celestian flags underneath!
