To the entire Game Of Thrones Cast and Crew, yes, Including David and Dan (even though you pulled some shit over the years),

I do want to thank you for the hard work you put in and for making this show. Up until just now, it was a show I genuinely enjoyed and looked forward to. And even though I literally nearly vomited at the end of the episode, it was brilliantly made. The CGI, the acting, the sets, the costumes, all the behind the scenes people, people handing out fruit to the extras between takes. I see you all and I appreciate your hard work.

I know this nihilistic ending and message likely wasn’t what you thought it would be or wanted it to be. Even David and Dan. I honestly believe you led us on so long thinking Dany was ultimately good was because you didn’t want to do this to her character and were forced to by the outline you were given.

George though, you sick fuck.

This is not what people want from fantasy or storytelling. We want to escape. Not to lie awake at night crying over goddamn fictional people. I will not be buying another book from you ever again. Hope you’re happy.

It’s really George. This is his ending. This is his story. D&D only got the notes on the end after they got a few seasons in. They couldn’t have known during that first meeting and that first season what George planned.

Like, this was one of the saddest parts for me, like it was right there, and instead they had Sansa bitch about being useless, which totally fits with DnD’s strong woman feminism, but that isn’t George. At all. The George that gave us empathy for Catelyn and Brienne, ugh. Like DnD have such shallow view of femme women.
