BLOG PSA: Final Farewell

 This is the hardest post I’ve ever had to write.

I’ve had this blog for over two years, and in that time it has become a central part of my life. Tumblr and fandom, and the friends I’ve made here, have been there for me during tough times. I’ve loved my time here and in no way regret it.

But as much as I love it on here, there comes a time in a blogger’s life when they need to move on and log off. And that time is right now for me.

I’ve got a lot of reasons for leaving, but just know that, as trite as it is, “it’s not you, it’s me.” I love everyone here, my friends and my followers. But there are issues in my own life that need to be dealt with, and Tumblr takes time. And, honestly, fandom takes an emotional toll.

So as of the end of the weekend, this blog will become an archive, and soon after I’ll be deleting it.

But just because I’m leaving tumblr, that doesn’t mean I’m leaving the world. 

My Ao3 account will still be active, and I plan to still write fic and post it there (my username is Nerdgirlproblems).

I have a twitter, @Alizatweets, that I’ll try and start using.

I don’t want to lose contact with my friends, so please message me if you want to exchange skype info or FB info or numbers for texting.

Seriously, I want to thank all of you for being there for me the last two years. But this is the choice I needed to make right now for myself. I’m not dismissing the idea of coming back to tumblr eventually, but this is the end for this blog.

So thank you again, remember that I love you guys, and I’ll never forget what this blog has meant to me.
