everytime i see someones list of characters they like from homestuck and there's no women i mostly assume they're at least a bit sexist. why can't you connect with the very well developed main female characters in the cast but you love gamzee?

of all characters in homestuck, the list of men (and i'm not including june because she's canon closeted trans woman of course i won't count her) that have done ANYTHING of note in an admirable way is...dave.

and i will be honest including dave strider on a list of men feels like a hate crime.

fact is, most "men" on homestuck are either actually transfem (june, dave, jake) or kind of to exemplify misogyny and sexism in society in a way (caliborn, dirk (transmasc), equius, eridan, gamzee, etc.) or not as relevant as the woman characters? ofc there are exceptions but homestuck is Transwomen: The Webcomic. most men the fandom loves the most are actually really transwomen or just read Completely Wrong, and most women are just ignored in order to not get in the way of The Yaoi

You’re mistaking your own personal headcannons for cannon. there is nothing wrong with headcannons BUT it does become an issue when your spreading misinformation and calling it an ‘argument’

I mean, of course it isn't stated but those are my readings of the characters. I could go on and on about how all these characters are trans coded, and to say that isn't a stretch since Andrew Hussie is a transfem clowngender person who writes themes and metaphors like no one; Homestuck is all about the queer teenager experience, along with societies sexism and power structures. I don't think it's canon and never stated it was canon, but it's a reading on Homestuck that i consider very plausible; to ignore the transness in Homestucks characters is to read Homestuck with your eyes closed. It's not an argument, just my opinion. You don't need to come to my post where i express my opinion and be rude to me; you can just scroll, you know? Not everything is for you or will be aligned with your beliefs. You could have just done as I did: make your own post on your own blog. Have a nice day.
