HOW TO SURVIVE A HEART ATTACK WHEN ALONE Let’s say it’s 6.15pm and you’re going home (alone of course), after an unusually hard day on the job. You’re really tired, upset and frustrated. Suddenly you start experiencing severe pain in your chest that starts to drag out into your arm and up into your jaw. You are only about five miles from the hospital nearest your home. Unfortunately you don’t know if you’ll be able to make it that far. You have been trained in CPR, but the guy that taught the course did not tell you how to perform it on yourself..!! NOW HOW TO SURVIVE A HEART ATTACK WHEN ALONE… Since many people are alone when they suffer a heart attack, without help, the person whose heart is beating improperly and who begins to feel faint, has only about 10 seconds left before losing consciousness. However, these victims can help themselves by coughing repeatedly and very vigorously. A deep breath should be taken before each cough, and the cough must be deep and prolonged, as when producing sputum from deep inside the chest. A breath and a cough must be repeated about every two seconds without let-up until help arrives, or until the heart is felt to be beating normally again. Deep breaths get oxygen into the lungs and coughing movements squeeze the heart and keep the blood circulating. The squeezing pressure on the heart also helps it regain normal rhythm. In this way, heart attack victims can perhaps buy precious time to get themselves to a phone and dial 911. The League needs intel on some sketchy rich guy or something, and Bruce very reluctantly admits that he has an… old friend who might be able to help them, if he can convince her. He says “friend”, but his tone makes it incredibly clear that he means a lot more than that and that he’s fully expecting the reunion to be emotionally compromising for both parties. He’s exactly as much of a drama queen about it as he is about ever other aspect of his life.

Diana accompanies him to this meeting to make sure they don’t end up fighting and/or banging each other for reasons.

Bruce has it all planned at their meeting location. He turns his chair around slowly when he hears Selina’s heels come clicking into the room. “Miss Kyle,” he says. “it’s been a long time.”

Well, actually he gets about as far as “Miss Kyle”, because by that point he’s turned around and sees Selina kissing Diana’s hand and introducing herself with a sultry little, “Please, call me Selina.” 

Diana is from an island of female warriors. Diana is nothing if not, let us say, appreciative of confident and badass older women. Diana is utterly charmed.

And that’s how Selina pulls off her greatest heist: stealing the heart of Batman’s teammate, right before his eyes.

Samantha Jo, a Chinese-Canadian actress, playing Euboea.

Eleanor Matsuura, a Japanese-English actress playing Epione.

Asian women are represented among the Amazons and that’s awesome.

They’re a mythical people created from gods. Here’s a picture of them from the comics:

The Amazons have never all been white, Greek women, and they sure as hell shouldn’t be portrayed that way in a film that is supposed to empower ALL women of ALL races. Asian women should not be excluded.

Please don’t try to bring in the “historical accuracy” argument for why the Amazons should all be white because they are literally a race of women who have super strength and magical lassos and are created from clay, and you have a hard time accepting some of them as Asian?
