I think offering this service is appalling in nearly every case.

Add on top of that, making it easy to access for a segment of the population that already has suicide as a leading cause of death and you're entering a whole new world of ghoulish behaviour.

For the purpose of this situation I don't really care where folks stand on transgender issues, that's irrelevant.

Because next up they may decide to add some silicone lube to the slope and move on to another demographic with a fairly high suicide rate, veterans is the first to come to my mind.

Maybe parents of children with not even a immediately terminal condition, but one that will require extra care and time, let's say cystic fibrosis. Yes it's likely that it will end up killing them, I think the average life spans are in the 40's now, mom and dad don't want to have to be tethered to that.
