This is very important, because i promise you: no matter how old or mature you think you are (or hell, even actually are), you’ll get a few years older and realize just how big a maturity difference there is. But you know who already is aware of that maturity difference?

The older person trying to get you to go out with them. And they are almost definitely targeting you because you’re younger and less mature than them, and therefore you’ll be easier for them to control or manipulate. Dear teen girls,

Stop abusing your boyfriends and yes what you are doing is abuse.

Stop:

Yelling at him in front of his friends 

Hitting or slapping him when he does or says something you don’t like

Telling him he doesn’t have a choice when it comes to decisions that involve both of you 

Telling him he can’t hang out with friends because you don’t like him

Telling him to not talk to other girls even if they are his friend

Forcing him to spend every moment with you 

Belittling him and pointing out all his flaws

Calling him stupid or making fun of him for making a mistake

Threatening to break up with him if he doesn’t do what you want

Being emotionally manipulative and crying until he does what you want

Accusing him of cheating every time he’s not with you

Blow up is phone if he doesn’t text you every five minutes 

Telling him you are the must thing that has ever happened to him and no one else will love

Physically attacking him when ever you are mad

Forcing him to have sex despite that fact that he said he didn’t want to

Invading his privacy by going through his phone

Getting mad at him for changing his password and demanding he tell you what it is

If a guy did any of these things to a girl it would be considered abuse but since its the other way around its considered normal. Throughout High school I saw many girl treating their boyfriends like shit. Sometime even physically abusing them in the hallways and no one trying to stop it because its a girl attacking a boy. 

Boys: If your girlfriend does anything on this list leave her. It is abuse and you deserve better.

Girls: if you find your self doing anything on this list to your boyfriend you need to knock it off because you are being abusive.

And here we have Luke and Flora rendered together. 

I’m not sure if I’ve put them exactly to scale as their heights seem to vary between certain artworks throughout the series. At one point Flora is only an eye taller than Luke and in another Luke only comes up to her chin. Of course this does also factor in Flora’s modern design or her design’s of the first game since she wears higher heels in the newer games whereas I designed her with shorter heels in this model (mainly for the sake of keeping her consistent with her Curious Village design’s since I want to include those too.)

Eitherway, I’m happy with how they both overall turned out. I’ll see what other Layton characters I’ll do next. But if you have any suggestions, feel free to let me know. ^^

Thousands march to support LGBTQ visibility in Japan

Spotted: Japan's first officially-recognised same-sex couple.

A colourful procession of rainbow flag-waving supporters marched in downtown Tokyo on Sunday during one of its annual LGBTQ pride parades.

According to local reports, about 5000 people marched the 3km parade route for Tokyo Rainbow Pride, which took them through through the iconic Shibuya Station crossing intersection.

In November last year, two women made history by obtaining a government certificate officially recognising their union.

But Hiroko Masuhara and Koyuki Higashi’s certificate isn’t legally binding, so spousal rights such as hospital visitations are regarded more as suggestions rather than enforceable by law.

Despite small steps inching toward more equal treatment, LGBTQ issues remain largely underground in Japan’s conservative community.

this has come up in a conversation i had with a friend recently so i thought i’d say something about it.

i thing i’ve noticed lately, when posting fic, is that there seems to be a lot less people who reblog, but a lot of likes. which is cool too because getting likes is nice, but when it’s the only thing you get it feels like a you tried star.

it’s not something that just happens in my case because i’ve seen quite a few people on my dash talking about it, so it’s not just me whining for more attention. tho i do love it.

the reason why i’m making this post is because i was told by a friend that they didn’t want to seem like a creepy stalker for liking and reblogging everything. but that’s totally not the case!

i’m pretty confident when i say this, but i think that a great percentage of writers won’t mind at all if you go on a wild spree and like and reblog all their fics. they’ll be ridiculously pleased by it in fact because reblogs translate to more people seeing the fic, to more support, to - possibly - more feedback.

we might often just write for ourselves, but for me writing isn’t as joyous and experience if there’s no feedback at all.

so:

likes are cool and appreciated, it’s totally okay if you don’t want to share the thing on your dash

reblogs are awesome because we get seen

reblogs with tags, especially those not just meant to categorize the post on a person’s blog are super rad

msg/comments/replies are super amazing, delightful and make our day, but we get that not everyone feels up to leaving those, it’s hard to find something to say at times.

i don’t want to come off wrong here. i appreciate every like i get, we all do. this is just a post to let you know that a good number of writers would not mind people getting “stalkerish” about their fics. so if you feel up to it, give it a try?
