to put in perspective just how bad the sidelining of kaeya has been:

paralogism: helped set up a sham trial which means there were zero stakes so none of his behavior really mattered in the end. pretty much did nothing else and was only there so characters could point out how dluc was the former cavalry captain (remember this)

traveler quest: mentioned but only in context of an assumption that turned out to be completely incorrect so we're still no closer to finding out how he exists

nod-krai aq (rerir's memories): not a single mention of anfortas alberich despite him becoming the regent of khaenri'ah and possibly being one of the four pillars. not a single mention of kaeya either, but don't worry, they made sure to mention that dluc was a former knight in case you missed it the first time!

durin sq: this cameo, while short, was fine! (...aside from the part where diona was only brought in to be nasty to kaeya, a running joke that has never once been funny)

vrka sq: literally just there to comment on dluc's backstory of being a former knight

homecoming event: who's kaeya? btw guys, did you know dluc was a former knight?

lohen sq: oh eroch and ursa are the killers of his adoptive father, surely this time kaeya will – nope just there to tell us about how dluc was the former cavalry captain.

bonus:

an npc who was released with dorman port says he knows kaeya. so naturally he starts telling us more about how dluc was the former – do you want to kill yourself yet!!!!!

tbh if someone was done dirty by this event, it was xilonen, bc like she was only there at the request of a kid she was basically forced to adopt in her sq, and now she's had to deal with a bunch of nerds who won't shut up about shit she doesn't care about it, and also with a family drama of a girly she met like 2 days ago and actually solve that family drama bc varesa is useless

anyway, from nod krai trailer we see mini durin looking at like a shadow of big durin. best case scenario they have an arc of them coming together that gives durin agency that paralogism stole from him. worst case, big durin is just an evil bad dragon who is tormenting poor innocent baby, and in that case i'm suing them. i'm calling neuvi and reporting hatecrimes against dragons

ppl can call varka "dilf" or whatever delulu stuff they want, but pretending that he was some sort of father figure\authority ideal to kaeya is hilarious when Kaeya canonically "don't worry, kitten"-ed Varka

what oracle did vedrfolnir give that got him imprisoned? the doomsday prophecy seems to have been nicole's so did her prophecy spread for an undetermined amount of time only for vedrfolnir to confirm it years later through regular divination (he wasn't a sinner yet)? since vedrfolnir was regarded as one of the brilliant minds of khaenri'ah, i wonder if irmin pressured him to reject nicole's prophecy but vedrfolnir refused and told them the truth.
