I love when pop psych people who are convinced childhood is a general solution to all problems say “in adulthood, you either recreate or reject dynamics or experiences you had as a child”. I suppose that’s sort of impossible to really disagree with, as the set of “doing something from your childhood; or; not doing something from your childhood” logically contains every possible experience.
