Ok so I’m not at my best drawing humans yet but hey they don’t look like potatoes. Let’s take that as a win. XD
Tetra
Tetra, an autobot M.T.O, one of the younger generations works as a communications specialist for the cause. Before they came to earth Tetra was often stationed back at base. They overviewed, coordinated and established communication arrays. They never wanted to be part of the war but them being an M.T.O didn’t get much of a choice. When they came online they got taken under the wing of a small group of older M.T.Os. Becoming somewhat of a surrogate family as they understood each other. Together they would often share dreams and aspirations of what they’d do if the war was over. Unfortunately one day Tetras group gets sent to the front and Tetra loses them. As the older M.T.Os protected Tetra as he was the youngest he was left behind so he wouldn’t get hurt. They never got over their deaths.
Henrietta Teskey - Hattie
Old grouchy, doesn’t want to be social. Comes from a long line of sailors. She used to help out on her fathers boat a lot when she was little. Raised Ethan alone after her relationship with her husband didn't work out.
After Ethan's death she falls into a deep depression, isolating herself from her friends and family becoming a recluse. She lives alone in a small house away from the rest of the village. As she used to work as a radio technician Tetra and she became acquainted, both having to work together to repair/reestablish the radio network of the village. At first Hattie is abrasive towards Tetra not wanting to work or speak with them. After prevailing on Tetras' part though they get to work together and while fixing the radio network get to know each other.
They bond over their shared grief of loved ones both having a disdain for war as it was the cause for their loss. They become friends over the time they spent together, Hattie even ending up giving Tetra a nickname she used for her son Ethan.
Ethan “Sparrow” Teskey
Hattie's son who joined the Navy as a fighter pilot and dreamed about becoming an astronaut after his career. He studied aerospace engineering in college. He unfortunately dies before he can ever reach his dream. Leaving behind a grieving mother. He was known as sparrow by his fellow pilots which also was one of his nicknames his mother gave him.
HOW THEY MEET:
As the autobots seek refuge on earth they come across a small valley and its inhabitants. The valley people accept the autobots being around under the condition they help fix the stuff they broke (broken radio network). This is where Tetra comes into play. They are an communications expert being a walking radio station basically. As they don’t understand the human technology though the valley people direct them to seek out Hattie who used to be a former radio technician. Hattie is not really happy to see Tetra she is somewhat the villages recluse who after the death of her son has isolated herself at the edge of the valley. Through Tetras perseverance though they manage to work together to rebuilt the broken radio network so the valley is no longer cut off. While fixing Tetra and Hattie become friends and they both bond over their distaste over war as they both lost loved ones because of it.
