Idea concept of „thrumming“

When Bumblebee gets severely injured after he got rescued from the cons, Ethos seeks him out in the med-bay offering comfort to a distressed Bee. He is emitting a thrumming sound which helps boost Bees repair nanites helping his recovery along. Ethos does a lot of frequency manipulation emitting different sounds that affect the bots around him. A healing thrum to speed up recovery or a calming rumble to help a tired bot fall asleep, most of it happens subconsciously and it takes him years to figure out the whole scope of his abilities.

Fic stuff! More character lore about Shatterframe

Shatter is pretty much held together with spite and ductape. So much ductape. He suffered severe damage and after stranding on earth he had to be creative in how he could fix himself. To the point his insides become some weird mix of unconventional bits and pieces that keep him running. He is no doctor by any means and his engineering knowledge only gets him so far so he is a walking hazard thats barely held together. As to not get caught by the humans he manages to infiltrate their society after building himself a Holoavatar and with it he starts a 3D printing business to be able to make better parts to upgrade himself. He becomes quite popular too and ends up becoming a sort of influencer advertising his business to further garner funds for better equipment.

When Splitscreen finds out about that she teases him relentlessly because of the sheer ridiculousness of it all with him being a former Decepticon. Shatter only scoffs at that, secretly proud of his achievements but he would never openly admit to this. Anyway him being basically made out of weird Lego bricks turns him into a bizarre medical marvel. He is able to avoid the med bays for some time until he gets worse enough that Splitscreen stops respecting his stance on trying to deal with it himself. Unable to understand why exactly Shatter is so avoidant of medical bays she looses her patience when he is quite literally falling apart in front of her. They argue and bicker until Splitscreen has enough and simply decides to drag Shatter to the med bay herself. It goes as bad as it could be as Splitscreen learns why Shatter is so averse when it comes to seeking medical help and the fragile bit of trust they built gets shattered. Shatter is unwilling to talk about the matter but the reaction he showed was enough for Splitscreen to refrain from further asking questions.

Only one chapter in and I’m already invested in @lowqualitydriftjpg newest fic. Read Deadlock with a bitty and had to draw them. I’m looking forward to read more of this fic. :>

I made two new tf ocs for the sole purpose of putting them into ridiculous situations. No plot only shenanigans.

They are like the fucked up barbie dolls you had as a child. Utterly unhinged and full of issues but that’s what makes them fun. They are two silly idiots against the universe. One is a neurotic mess with anger issues the other has a weird oral fixation licking everything that isn’t running away fast enough. They don’t want each other, they NEED each other cause neither is competent enough to make it on their own.

HOW THEY MEET:

They met in a Prison cell both waiting to be smelted down as they had outrun their usefulness. Gust introduces himself with a terrible joke and Blunder instantly decides he hates this mech with a passion of a thousand suns. Not getting the memo Gust continues to chat away unbothered as if they weren’t currently awaiting their death which further infuriates Blunder. Thinking that he wouldn’t have to endure this mech for too long Blunder tries to make peace with his early demise but not known for being lucky or Primus just hating him personally they of course end up getting rescued when the autobots free the prisoners. Neither of them sticks around though to see what the autobots have in store for them so they end up running away and stealing a small transport vessel.

Blunder didn’t plan to escape with Gust but is now regardless stuck with him and they have to learn to navigate being around each other. Gust enjoys getting a reaction out of Blunder and promptly learns all the ways to piss him off which isnt all that difficult since the mech has the temper of a firecracker. Blunders sanity is tested repeatedly as he can’t just drop Gust off somewhere to get rid of him because for a blind mech Gust has an incredible sense of direction and somehow always finds his way back. Much to Blunders despair. So they (more so Blunder) learn to get along with one another accepting each others weird (or questionable) quirks in favor of making it work.

so a while back I was looking for some nice figurines of ratchet and drift and found the worst and best versions. LOOK AT THE SCRUNKLIES! Ratchet has severe scoliosis and drift looks like a walking hamburger. They are both cursed and perfect.

One day when I finally get my drivers license I will know so much about cars for all the wrong reasons just because I wanted to make a fic more believable term wise. Thank you transformers fandom for making me obsessed enough to learn this because I would never do that out of my own free will otherwise.

I just spent reading two massive chapters of one of my current favorite fics and holy they were devastating so have a cute little moment with Splitscreen teaching Ethos how to fly.

Happy Mer-May everyone. Been a while since I took part in mermay and what better excuse to take part in it then design some merformer versions of Shatterframe and Splitscreen. It’s always such a treat to see what everyone comes up with in this month. :>

Shatter is quite apprehensive at first when it comes to Ethos because what do you mean this is the cybertronian version of a baby they don't do babies. So he is very weirded out by the concept of sparklings. It also doesn’t help that Ethos was created to be a weapon. Nonetheless he comes around to Ethos eventually.

Splitscreens first attempts at trying to teach Ethos how to speak took an unexpected turn. To her dismay like any toddler who is repeatedly told not to say a specific word Ethos became even more determined to go against it , blissfully unaware of the situation he created. Luckily for them there aren’t a lot of autobots who know earth slangs but unlucky for her the ones who do would end up teasing her quite a bit.

I delayed the third important character of my tf au since he got a bit of a design overhaul and some more info. I’m also quite excited to finally introduce him since now I can also post all the little silly comics that feature him. XD

Created as a weapon for war by Shockwave, Ethos was supposed to help the Decepticons triumph over the Autobots on earth. Being able to level whole cities with his outlier ability he would have been a fearsome opponent weren’t it for the fact that he was just a confused and scared newspark unable to understand what was going on. Deprived of connection with anyone, he is left in a constant terrified state not realizing what he is doing until Splitscreen reaches out.

After he gets rescued by the autobots Ethos has much growing to do, both physically and mentally. As he is nurtured in a safer environment, his true character starts to show. A kind and inquisitive nature that won't skip an opportunity to connect with others and make friends (much to Shatterframes dismay as he becomes his favourite bot right after Splitscreen).

This little newspark is greatly loved by the whole autobot base and it’s collectively decided to keep Ethos as far away from the war as possible.

All things considered Ethos grew up safe and loved. As an adult, he develops a headstrong personality, believing in being just but kind, and adopting Optimus' beliefs that every sentient being has the right to be free and choose their own destiny.
