#the longer I’ve spent away from the tumblr rpc has reaaaaally made me look back on a lot of the discourse that’s happened and shaped #this little community as like … absolutely wild and I find myself wondering like #all these ppl who used to hoop and holler about the ethics of this bullshit and that bullshit and yada yada and just wonder like …#where tf are those ppl @ now in their lives and by god have we learned what really matters yet lol #like this may not make any sense but straight up my frontal lobe developed and it was like … WOW so much of that discourse was absolutely #useless and did nothing to actually make any of these spaces safer #pls don’t read this and think my views have shifted to the right of rpc politics at all it’s not that at all it’s actually that I’ve taken #a hard left and thought like ‘oh wow this is a lot of performative liberalism going on here.’#and I’ve been away for a very long time so it very well may not be like this now and I hope that it’s not #idk if any of this is making sense it’s just been on my mind a lot with like everything going on it’s interesting to think about #in hindsight #anyhow #I’m not here I just have a long drive ahead of me and been ponderin #hope y’all are well
